Kangmyeong Lee was born on the 2nd of August, 1997. He was 16 when he died.
Kangmyeong had a younger sister he cared for. He had loved martial arts from a young age, but he was very shy and wanted to avoid contact with others. As he grew up, he became more confident and broke out of his shell, and became more interested in dancing. He still kept up with martial arts with his friends Inbae Park and Hongrae Park from class 5. His other friend was Seungjun Hong, whom he hung out with at Seungjun's house after his martial art classes were over. Kangmyeong gained the nickname ''Rhododendron pig'' from them. His motto was ''You can do it!'' Kangmyeong had a lot of dreams but he wanted to become either a soldier or a bodyguard.
His parents were hesitant to send him to the field trip. They were worried that he would not get enough excercise, but Kangmyeong convinced them to let him go. He left, but he had to confirm to his parents that he was doing some kind of excercise at least once a day.
His body was recovered and returned to his parents. He now rests at Ansan Sky Memorial Park next to his friend Inbae Park.
