Juhee Kim was born on the 23th of May, 1997. She was 16 when she died.
Juhee was her family's only child. She had a younger brother, but Juhee's mother didn't want to raise him and picked Juhee instead. Because of her being the only child, Juhee got used to being alone, and taking care of herself. She never cried and was a cheerful, bright person. If there's one thing her mother regrets, it's not spending that much time with her. She didn't hear any words from her daughter during the trip. Juhee loved making paper canes, and often gave them to her mother. Juhee's dream was to get a scholarship and work for Samsung. She wanted to become an ad designer.
The day before the trip, Juhee was putting on makeup because the school didn't allow it but allowed it on the trip. Her mother caught her in the act and punished her. Looking back, she regrets punishing Juhee for such a trivial thing.
Her body was recovered and returned to her parents. She now rests at Ansan Sky Memorial Park.
