Seunghwan Kim was born on the 7th of August, 1997. He was 16 when he died.
Seunghwan was the youngest child of his family. He was described as vibrant, extrtoverted but emotional. Despite that, he was admired by his peers and had lots of friends. Man said it was because of his handsome looks. His best friend was Hyuncheol Nam from the same class. Seunghwan's ultimate dream was to become an hairstylist.
His last text messages were sent to his parents. He had sent them hours before the sinking. ''I'm going to the field trip now, I'll be careful.''
His body was recovered and returned to his parents. He now rests at Hwaseong Sky Memorial Park. If you visit his grave, you might notice the empty grave next to it..why has it been there for 6 years? His friend Hyuncheol hasn't been found. The grave is waiting the coffin of his beloved friend.
