Lol, don't mind me just projecting my habits and past onto Roman.
Roman smiled and came up with creative games. He talked with his best friend, Patton about the game and Patton enthusiastically agreed.
That was until Patton brought his friends. Roman tried to be friendly, but they called his game stupid, even when he had made characters just for them.
They stopped playing games. They ignored and glared at Roman if he had something to say or even if he hadn't said anything at all. They talked about things that bored him. Things like handwriting and looking through diaries.
He couldn't take the isolation, so he left.
He couldn't understand how Patton never stood up for him. How he stayed oblivious. He couldn't trust anyone. That's what he never fully learned until that moment.
So he either clung onto somebody or tried to push them away.
That year he met Logan, and that was the highlight of his year. They had a lot in common, and they got along great. He finally began feeling something was going right.
