Time to Prepare

3rd Person POV

Ever since talking with Bakugo, Midoryia's mood had lifted a little for the first time since the incident. He still had his quiet moments but that was normal for him. Aizawa and him had been assigned to a small building within the campus walls, and that's where Midoryia had been chosen to stay for the time being. It wasn't much but it gave the boy comfort in knowing he was close to his teachers. Not that it mattered anyway, Aizawa barely left his side.

Inside of school, Todoroki and Iida were as protective as ever, though they had given Midoryia some slack as he told them that they didn't need to worry about him all the time. Hell, even Bakugo seemed to be keeping a closer eye on him, even though he would never admit it. He hadn't talked to Midoryia since the incident but he also hadn't been bullying him either, so that showed at least a little bit of progress.

As the weeks drew closer to summer, so did their midterms.

Midoryia's POV

The bell rang for class to start as I quickly took my seat. Aizawa cleared his throat as he requested the class's attention be drawn to him. The class grew silent as all eyes went to the front of the class.

"As you all know, you're midterm exams will be held tomorrow." Aizawa began. I could feel my heart begin to beat faster at the mere thought of it. I had been studying nonstop but I still couldn't help but feel unprepared.

"There will be two parts to your exams. We written part and a physical part." Aizawa stated.

"Woah what? A physical part? But our junior high exams only had written test!" Mineta protested, raising his hand high in the air. Aizawa shot him a look that made the small grape shut his mouth and sit back down in his seat.

"Well you are in UA now, so obviously we work different than junior highs. Plus your in the hero's course so physical fitness is a requirement for any hero." Aizawa then turned his attention back to the rest of the class. "You will be taking your written portion first. It will be over everything that we have learned in class so for so study hard. As for the physical part, you will be separated into partners."

Mina raised her hand this time. "So who's partnered with who then?"

"You will be assigned your partner tomorrow before the exam starts. Now, moving on, today I will allow you to have a free day so that way you can study for tomorrow's test. However, I suggest studying on your free time as well." Aizawa said as he zipped himself into his sleeping bag and fell asleep on the floor.

"Yo Midoryia, do you want to study with us tonight at Momo's house?" Uraraka called out to me as leaned over towards my desk. I smiled at her.

"Thanks for the offer Uraraka, but I'm actually already studying with Iida and Todoroki tonight at Todoroki's house."

"Todoroki's house?" She asked confused before leaning in closer. "I thought his dad was mean though." She whispered in my ear.

"He says that Endeavor has patrol this week so he shouldn't be home til this weekend."

"Oh okay. Well if you change your minds, you three are welcome to join us."

"Thanks Uraraka." I say as she goes to join the group that is surrounding Momo. It was like Momo had just adopted a bunch of children.

"Hey, we're still on for tonight right?" Iida asked me as him and Todoroki approached my desk.

"Yeah of course, as long as it's still fine with you Todoroki."

Todoroki nodded his head. "Everything should be fine."

"Great. Do you guys want to study some right now too so that way we don't have as much material to cover tonight?" I asked as I took out my notes.

They nodded their heads and we got to studying. Little did we know that that tonight wouldn't be as drama free as we had hoped.
