Chapter 208: Eri

Yakuza Hideout, Eri's Room

2:50 PM

Izuku sat on the floor opposite Eri, he figured that giving her some space would allow her to feel more calm around him not sure how to handle this situation he decided to just go for it and start up the conversation.

Izuku: Hi Eri, my name is Izuku

Eri turned her head away from Izuku

Izuku: I'm not here to hurt you, and I promise that he won't hurt you as long as I am here

Eri: *whispers* You can't stop him

Izuku: You can trust me Eri

Eri: *sniifles* You don't know what he can do

Izuku: Eri I don't know what he has been doing to you and I can't imagine what you are going through right now but you can trust me when I say I am here to help you.

Eri: I don't deserve to be helped

Izuku: Eri...

Eri: I am not a good person *tears fall down her face* You can't help me

Izuku: Eri your not a bad person

Eri: I hurt people and I... I can't help it

Izuku: You won't hurt me Eri

Eri: NOOO you don't understand

Izuku stood up and walked towards Eri

Izuku: Eri I promise you won't hurt me

Eri looked up at Izuku, she knew he was a nice person but he seemed so sad, deep inside he had pain like she had, Eri had never talked to someone this much in awhile, Izuku was different from the others. But that made Eri more scared. The small horn on her head began to grow.

Eri: Get away, I don't want to hurt you

Eri's quirk went off as Izuku activated his golden armor on his arm as he braced himself. The armour seemed to keep dispaperaing but then it came back, somehow Izuku's physical body wasn't being damaged by Eri

Eri noticed this and began to calm down, the horn on her head shrinking back down

Eri: How did you do that?

Izuku: Oh that, it's one of my abilities, see I told you that you couldn't hurt me

Eri was relieved so the first time in what seemed like forever she felt... not sad

Eri: Fine you can stay

Izuku: Thank you Eri

Eri: *nods*

Izuku: So Eri what do you like to do?

*Outside Of Eri's Room*

Overhaul had been listening right outside and was completely shocked, not at Izuku surviving Eri's rewind or even that Izuku was so kind in his words. It was Eri, Eri hadn't spoken that much to anyone, even himself. Izuku Midoriya is one interesting kid

*Author's Note*

This chapter was the hardest one I have ever written, I know I have said that before but this chapter was the most challenging. Eri is a much different character than the other characters I have written, unlike Izuku, Bakugo, Himiko or even All Might she has a much different mindset then anything you see in most writing. While writing this chapter I had second guessed my self multiple times and it took almost 2 days to come up with the first draft for this chapter. However this is just one of the many challenges of writing and I will learn from the new experience.
