Christianity isn't about religion, rather the relationship. I must see God as my Master. Woe to me if I refuse the voice of He who speaks. There is no salvation or hope outside of Him.
Deuteronomy 12: Don't follow your heart, the heart is desperately wicked!- rather, God. Don't "do your own thing". Rejoice in the Lord. Aim to please Him in all that you do. Obey the Lord, do what is right and good. Stray not from the path of holiness. Pray for endurance. Be separate from the wicked. Don't compromise. Don't even dabble out of curiosity.
Job 12: The Lord is the mighty Creator. We are just nothings in His hand. As the Potter, He can do as He wants. He is still just and holy.
John 1: All things are made for and by the Lord. As the Author, He can do with what is His as He should choose. He alone is Life. To those who receive Him, He accepts and adopts. Make your heart ready for the Lord. Don't continue in sin. He is great. I am not. He owes me nothing. It's only by His love that He extends mercy and grace to me. Salvation in Christ alone! Behold the Lamb of God! Look to Him and live! Plead with your family to come to Christ. Selfishness has no place in God's Kingdom.
