God loves whom He corrects. If He didn't love us, He'd let us go on as we please, which would lead us to our destruction. Hebrews 12:5. Let Him have His way. Don't give up, but let Him sanctify you.

Acts 7: The Lord sees our afflictions. He hears our cries. Backsliding (and all other wickedness) begins in the heart. The heart is desperately wicked, who can know it? The King of glory created all things. What is not His? What can contain Him? Don't resist the Holy Ghost.
