The Lord isn't a tyrant; He doesn't force, rather we must choose that which pleases Him. Is He our Master? Do we obey Him willingly?
Isaiah 59: The Lord is able to save and He can hear, but if we hold fast to sin, God won't draw near nor answer. Sin can't dwell in HIs sight. Our righteousness is as filth, it won't save us. Wickedness springs from the heart. We'll be judged according to our deeds.
Hosea 6: Encourage yourself and others to repentance. The Lord would rather obedience than sacrifices.
1 Corinthians 1: Wait patiently in faith and hope that God will keep you and present you blameless before Him in that day. God is faithful. Jesus, to His people, is precious, but the gospel is foolishness to those that are lost. God and that which is of Him is greater than all things. Never seek or desire or accept glory due to the Lord alone.
