The Lord won't beg or force, if once His Word is heard, it's rejected or ignored, He'll let it go. If we hear the Word and understand, great is our damnation if we don't obey. If we lack understanding, we must ask of God. He'll answer.
Joshua 9: Beware of leaning on your own understanding, men's ways lead to destruction. Ask the Lord's will to be revealed.
Job 42: He is the omniscient God, nothing is hid from Him. When the Lord's glory is revealed, repentance comes. Pride is gone forever.
Acts 10: What God calls holy/purified, don't treat casually/commonly. When God speaks to you, don't keep it to yourself, bid all you can to come in too. Only those who fear the Lord and work righteousness and live holy are accepted. Not all can see Jesus, so many blinded and hard hearted. We're to tell others of salvation. He is the Judge. It's only in His Name there's salvation and forgiveness of sins. Speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance is prof of the infilling of the Holy Ghost after baptism in Jesus' Name. All Scripture points to Christ. He is the Word of God.
