There's only One who can fill and complete the human heart- the One who created it...Jesus. If we put our trust in man vs God, we'll be sorely disappointed.
Job 24: The Lord sees all. Though it seem that the wicked prosper, all men's doings are before Him.
John 13: Jesus' love is eternal. Jesus didn't need prompting to do good, why do we? The Lord knows who are His. Let us love one another as God loves us. Not to get something out of each other (worldly love), but pure, sacrificial love. This is how we'll be marked out as Jesus' disciples. because it's "unusual" almost unheard of in this world.
