Let it be Christ first, foremost and always to me. Nothing else beside. Nothing His equal. He is all sufficient. He is enough. He is my all. He is my portion. My exceeding great reward.
Deuteronomy 7: God has chosen to set us apart for Himself, not because we're some3thing but because He loved us. He is God, the only God, the faithful God! He doesn't break a promise, whether it's mercy to those that love and fear Him or judgment to those who hate Him. He will love and bless those that are His. Don't fear men. Recall the Lord's mighty works. Don't associate yourself with sinfulness. Or, even the appearance of sin. When in doubt, don't. Don't bring wickedness into your home. Abhor, loathe, detest what God sees as sin.
Job 7: Remember how frail and short life is. Make me to know how small I am. What am I that You should look upon me, a sinner? Why should You set Your heart upon me and be with me always?
