Pray the Lord to shed His light on the inward self, repent and confess all wrong doing. Don't shrug it off. Pray for sensitivity to the Spirit and ears to hear conviction. Act on it immediately with all sincere obedience.
1 Samuel 10: When the Spirit of God fills us we'll never be the same. When we trust in men, or disregard what the Lord has done for us/that He's able to do all things for us, we spurn and reject Him.
Isaiah 61-62: The plan of Jesus was to preach salvation to all, to heal the broken hearted (comfort), free from chains of sin and death and deliver from darkness to light. He's to be glorified by His people. Let our offerings be in sincerity and truth. He will save all those who put their trust in Him. Rejoice in the Lord, His acceptance and tender care is upon HIs people. Righteousness and praise go before Him. There's a new name for the people of God. Who are we to be a crown of glory to the Majestic One? In that day, it'll be known the Lord has chosen His own for He delights in them. The church is the bride of Christ, He delights in her. Don't be silent. Cry out salvation and judgment to come. Jesus is coming to judge! He will restore, redeem and keep His own.
Hosea 8: Because we have the word of God, where is our excuse? Sin will surely be punished.
1 Corinthians 2-3: Forever let it be Christ and Christ alone! Take the world, but give me more of Jesus. Let me never be content nor satisfied. More Jesus! May it not be me people see, but Him! May it be God who quickens, not man. All of this earth shall surely pass away. It's God who opens up the heart and understanding. The Spirit is given to us to guide and teach us all things. Carnal man can't understand the heavenly things. They are foolishness to those perishing. We need to mature in Christ. We need meat to grow. It's important that we grow in Him. It's carnality that keeps us from understanding the things of God. Do we live and act as the world? We are carnal. The flesh must be put under subjection. None of us laborers of Christ have anything to boast of. Jesus is the glory! Jesus gives the increase! Jesus, only Jesus! God won't forget our labor, but all is of Jesus. No flesh is to glory in His presence. beware of dross. Build, live, speak, act in the simplicity of Christ, in holiness unto the Lord. We're the temple of God. Live holy.
