Never apologize over Scripture. Save fluff for sandwiches. The words of the Lord hurt and offend until there's nothing left to hurt or offend. Show no leniency towards sin.
Isaiah 65: The Lord will yet have a remnant of those who walk holy before Him. Those who seek the Lord shall find Him and His rest. Pray for ears and a heart that listens to the voice of God. Pray to stay in what pleases God. All God does is righteous and holy. Rejoice in His works. He'll rejoice over His children; there'll be no more tears. Before we cry to God, He'll answer. So near to us, He'll hear and answer His children. All shall be perfect and holy. No more sin, nor sorrow, for God shall be with His people which He wanted to begin with.
1 Corinthians 6: We shall reigns as kings and priests with God. Act accordingly now with justice and lovingkindness following His example. We shouldn't be airing our affairs, especially before unbelievers. Unless they repent, sinners cannot inherit the kingdom of God. This would seem to include those who knew better (cheap grace). Without are: fornicators, adulterers, gay, idolaters, effeminate, thieves, covetous, drunks, revilers and extortioners. No sin is small or petty. But there's hope for the repentant. We're all sinners, but because of mercy, we're now presented righteous in Christ. We're not to return to sin and bondage but live henceforth for Christ. We're to be pure, spotless, holy and set apart for Christ. He who is a friend of the world can't be a friend of God. Flee sin! We're Christ's and He went through so much to redeem us, how dare we go back?
