We are created to glorify God. Our lives must center around this. We aren't to live for ourselves but for Him for we are His servants. Our aim must always be to glorify God.
1 Samuel 7: God isn't a genie, if we continue in sin, we've no right to ask nor expect God to bless us.
Isaiah 58: Again, if we continue in sin, we have no right to ask or expect God to bless. If we turn from sin and wickedness the Lord has promised to hear our cry. He's promised to guide and satisfy. He expects us to honor Him to live for Him, not ourselves, to delight in Him.
Romans 16: Don't let false teaching become a stumbling block. Hold fast to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for wisdom from God that you be not simple and thereby deceived. Not all are Israel that say they are. Cleave to that which is good. Keep your mind on that which pleases God. Praise be to God who gives wisdom and understanding, who opens the eyes of the blind. Praise be to God who calls men into the glorious light of His salvation. Obey Him with faith.
