Chapter 40

Arken's POV

Natigilan siya sa sinabi ko. She looked at my face then scoffed. "So it's you again, Gate crasher."

"As far as I remembered, I was invited." I deadpanned answered. She laughed dryly. Ang arte!

"Ikaw pala 'yan. I didn't noticed you earlier. So, you cut your hair short pala. Tsk! Hindi bagay, girl! Para kang bakla." Nginisihan niya ako at hinead to foot ng tingin.

"Look at my face." Sagot ko agad na ikinakunot-noo niya.

"Say, what?"

"Look at my face. What do you see?" Ulit ko.

"Uhh.. face? Duh!"

"Do I look like I care?" Tanong ko kaya natigilan siya. "Exactly! I don't. So save your unsolicited advices to yourself."

"Ahh! You don't care? Really? Kaya pala nainsulto ka. So desperate and pathetic! You really had the audacity to show your face at the family dinner."

"And your point exactly?" Bored kong tanong. Andaming kuda.

"He's already my fiancé so back off!"

"Sure. Whatever floats your boat." I smirked at her and looked at Marcus.

"I don't do cat fights so strain this stray cat. She's sprouting her saliva nonstop. Rabies is dangerous." Bilin ko at agad na tumango ito ng makailang ulit. Tumalikod ako pero hinigit ng babae ang braso ko.

"Did I told you to leave already?! We're not done yet!"

"Security guard ka na pala ngayon?" Pang-aasar ko.

"You!" She tried to slap me but Marcus held her wrist.

"Grace! Will you fucking stop! You're attracting everyone's attention! Can you at least tone down your voice for a second?!" Narinig kong mahinang saway ni Marcus. Hinawakan niya ang braso ng babae at pinalayo sa akin. Humarang si Marcus sa harap ko kaya nasa likod na niya ako.

"So you're siding her?! Marcus, I am your fiancée!" She whined again.

"I don't care! Kayo lang naman ang may gusto nito! Kung gusto mong magpakasal, pakasalan mo si Lolo. Total, kayo lang naman ang nagpaplano." Gusto kong matawa sa sagot ni Marcus. Tiningnan ko ang babae at nakita ko siyang sinamaan ako ng tingin.

"Mamili ka. Siya o ako?!" Hindi pa rin ito nagpaawat.

"You already know the answer since from the very beginning. No need to ask me." Sagot ni Marcus at ginagap ang kaliwang kamay ko sabay hatak palayo sa nakatayong bulto ni Grace.

"You're so harsh on her." I tried to hide my victory in my mind. Ayokong ngumiti na nandito siya sa tabi ko.

"As if you were not, Baby." He laughed then put his arm around my waist while we're walking. Everyone's eyeing us right now but both of us don't really care. He kissed my temples. "Damn, Baby! I missed you so damn much!"

"Tsss. Tell that to your Grandpa." I answered. Hindi siya sumagot.

"Where are we going?" Tanong ko kasi hindi ko kabisado ang University na'to. Hindi siya sumagot kaya hinayaan ko nalang siya pero nagulat ako ng makitang lumiko kami sa walang masyadong tao at nakita kong papasok kami sa isang room. He opened it and signaled me to get in and I saw that no one is there. It's an office. Napalingon ako ng marinig ang pag lock sa pinto.

"What..." Inisang hakbang niya lang ang pagitan namin at agad niya akong hinapit sa bewang. He slammed his lips to mine and I immediately closed my eyes.

'Damn! I missed him, too!'

"I fucking miss you so much, Baby!" He said in between our kiss. His kiss becomes dominant and I liked the way how he explored my mouth using his tongue. Gigil na gigil siya habang kinakagat-kagat ng marahan ang aking labi.
