Chapter 24

Arken POV

Pagkalapag ng sariling eroplano ay agad na tumayo ako para makalabas agad sa airport. Suot ko ang Versace black dress na binigay ni Spencer sa birthday ko at pinatungan ko ng white furr Coat at Gucci black boots heels habang nakasuot din ako ng malaking itim na chanel shades. I looked so hot and sophisticated at the same time. Naramdaman ko agad ang malamig na klima ng Korea. It's always good to be back.

Sinalubong ako ng mga naka-all black uniforms. Sila ang mga tauhan ni Dad at isa-isang nag bow ng lagpasan ko sila. Sumakay ako sa nag-aantay na limousine at umuwi agad ng mansion. Ayokong mag-aksaya ng panahon.

Nag bow lahat ng kasambahay at mga bodyguards ng makita akong umibis ng sasakyan. Lumapit ang butler ni Dad at magalang na yumukod sakin.

"Abeojineun eodi gyesi ni?" (Where is father?)

"Geuneun jagi bang-eul gidaligo iss-eoyo, agassi." (He's waiting for you in his room, young lady)

"Hm."

Wala akong sinayang na panahon at pumasok sa loob at nagtungo sa elevator. I pressed the 4th floor and waited for it to open. When it opened I immediately went in while Butler Daki followed.

I knocked three times before I heard Dad said to come in in our language.

"Senthiña." He greeted me. Tumingin ito kay Butler Daki at may sinenyas.

"Ye, huijangnim." Narinig kong sabi ni Butler Daki at lumabas ng kwarto.

"How are you, my child?"

"Dad, we just saw each other the other day." He chuckled and motioned me to sit down with him.

"Ogito withdraw their alliance to Lukiza after they heard what you did to the big boss of Yuhisuri." Napaangat ang kilay ko sa narinig.

"Are you sure? Traitors are everywhere, Dad."

"Don't worry, my assassins are taking care of everything. What I want you to do is to give Lukiza Mafia a warning. They've been sending me death threats and I want them to taste their own medicine. You know what to do." Bilin nito kaya tumango ako. Nakita kong pumasok uli si Butler Daki at may ibinigay na folder sa akin.

"That's our new property in the Philippines. I want you to personally manage that while Spencer is resting."

"But I have school, Dad." I reminded him.

"Don't worry. Just visit it in twice or thrice a month. May general manager na akong itinalaga dun. You just have to give personal appearance and of course Butler Jang can also give you a hand with that." Tukoy nito sa Butler ko sa Pilipinas. Tumango nalang ako.

"I'm sorry if I keep on calling your attention to come here in Korea. Rest assured that this will be the last unless it's really urgent."

"Dad, it's fine. You were ambushed, Spencer got shot. You're all I have."

"Right. How was school?"

"Boring." Tumawa ito sa sagot ko.

"How are the girls?"

"They're fine. They're having fun. Anyways, You remembered Gilbert Paler and Eduardo Gonzales?" Ani ko at matagal na nag-isip si Dad tsaka tumango naman ng maalala ang tinutukoy ko.

"Why? What about them?"

"Nothing. I was just asking. I think I saw them."

"Oh, that! I want you to also follow up their debts. It's been so long." Umiling ito kaya napangisi ako.

"Sure. So, I'll just check on Spencer before I visit the boss of Lukiza, Dad."

"Yeah. Do that. He misses you."
