Riley was put into an adoption center when she was nearly 5 years old. She had been in multiple foster homes throughout her life. She has no friends and hasn't stayed in even one foster home for more than a month.

I walked with her out to the car. Sam drove Colby's car since the three of us wouldn't fit in his car. I sat in the back. As Sam pulled out of the driveway I opened Instagram. I started going through my dms.
Parker.r- hey it's Parker from Oregon:)
Rileybrock- hiii
Parker.r- how are you?
Rileybrock- I'm pretty good actually
Parker.r- that's great!
Parker.r- what are you up to?
Rileybrock- I'm going out with Sam and his girlfriend for the evening
Parker.r- that's cool
Rileybrock- yeah :)
Parker.r- I know this is really random but I was looking at your account for a minute after I followed you...who's Dylan? Is that your boyfriend?
Rileybrock- no
Parker.r- oh, ok 😅
Rileybrock- why do you ask?
Parker.r- just curious ig
Rileybrock- ok
Sam: hey Riley
Riley: yeah?
Sam: idk if you heard us but Katrina and I thought it would be a good idea to go to the beach instead of the park.
Riley: uh yeah that sounds good but I don't have a bathing suit
Katrina: I put one in my bag for you
Riley: oh. Thanks!
Katrina: of course!
*at the beach*
We got out of the car and walked around.
Riley: why did we do this today?
Sam: Colby and Shea wanted the house to themselves
Riley: oh..
Sam: but who cares what they are doing, let's just have fun, ok?
Sam smiled.
I smiled back and nodded my head. We continued to walk down the beach.
