It's been about a year since the unfortunate events that happened in the small town of Hawkins. It's been hard for most people who tried to forget more than others. Things only got worse for a redhead named Beverly Parker, during the past year her father had passed away in a terrible car accident. Her mother got so depressed she began to drink heavily and do more harmful things to her body.
Beverly couldn't take it anymore so she began to spend more time at her friends' houses than usual and only go back to that horrible place she called home and mother to get some things she needed. Her mother would always be passed out on the couch or shouting hurtful words at Bev when the woman would be awake. Bev's mother is the reason why she cut her hair so short. Out of all the anger and sadness Bev had inside, she decided to take it out on her hair which her mother always insults Bev about how she looked like a boy. Since then Beverly's been spending a lot of time with the Sinclairs as she felt safe and comfortable with them.
Lily had become more strong with her powers as she kept practicing and practicing to move small things. Her anger slowly began to become tolerable as she boxed more and more to get her mind off a certain girl with telekinesis powers.
As the days passed on, Lily became less and less engaged with school and activities as she became more and more determined to find some way to come in contact with Eleven who she missed dearly. Lily tried to do the thing Eleven does where she finds people with her mind but Lily could never find the girl or she couldn't concentrate enough.
