Herson told me you're home. Is everything alright?

After I received Herson's message, mabilisan akong umuwi. I don't know how I did it in the middle of a congested traffic, but I did because I really want to see her. I stopped myself from going straight to their unit, though.

I somehow remembered how much she tried to avoid me. After our date night, it took three days for us to talk again. I felt bad leaving her hanging that time. I knew that would be her reaction. May ideya ako kung anong tumatakbo sa isip niya.

All this time, iniisip niya na hindi niya deserved lahat ng ginagawa ko para sa kanya.

I love her.

I want her to know that with my actions since I know she's not ready to hear it. She'll bolt and run away if I do that. I was planning to tell her every feelings she has awakened from me that night. But I saw her face and her reaction so I stepped back.

I looked at my phone for the hundredth time but she has not responded yet. I'm just plopped on my bed, staring at the ceiling as I wait. Hindi ako mapakali pero gusto kong hintayin ang message niya as a go signal.

Mag-iisang taon na rin pala mula nang i-offer sa kanya ni Ana ang space beside Blunch Isle's for a physical bakeshop. Ang dami naman ibang  potential partners but I really liked the cookies she made. Aprubado rin naman sa staff ko lalo na kay Issa. I just knew she was it. Kaya nang sabihin ni Ana na hindi pa siya sumasagot, it unsettled me.

There was something about her and the way she holds herself. She's honest, headstrong, and humble. She knows when and where she's wrong.

Hindi katulad ko.

I only know perfection because it was expected of me. Every move and decision I made is carefully thought of. I don't sugarcoat things. Whatever I say will always be the truth. And nobody likes that.

My phone pinged with a message.

It was Anjerica and she's asking if I were home. Nagtataka akong napaupo at nagsimula siyang tawagan. Alam ko ay kasama niya sila Issa. Imposible naman na pupuntahan niya ako. Binalot ng kaba ang dibdib ko. What if something happened?
