"Yumi." Pagbungad niya sa akin habang nakasandal siya sa sasakyan nya. He's patiently waiting for me.

"Kanina ka pa ba?" I asked.

"Kararating ko lang." He smiled.

Tumango nalang ako at tahimik na sumakay sa sasakyan nang pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto.

"Saan ka nanggaling?" tanong ko sa kalagitnaan ng biyahe. He shifted his glance once and look back again at the road.

"Sa bahay. I just rested and then changed my clothes to come here." I remained quiet with what he just said.

I just look at the window. "You should've just wear a shirt not a polo."

"I want to look good in your eyes," he said without glancing at me. You're not a good liar, Xionus.

"You smell like coffee."

"I drank coffee before leaving at the house."

"You didn't go inside Starbucks?"

"Why would I go in there?"

"To drink coffee, of course. Bakit may ibang gagawin ka doon?" I looked at him and he also looked at me. Nagsukatan kami ng tingin.

"Nope. I didn't go at Starbucks."

"Anong ginagawa mo doon?" He shortly paused.

"Are you doubting me?" tanong niya pero katahimikan ang tumugon sa kanya. Hanggang sa makarating kami sa bahay di ako tumugon sa kanya.

"Yumi," he called me but I continued walking into my room.

"Yumi," he called as he opened the door. I want him to stop calling my name kasi nakakairita na.

"Don't barge into my room without knocking," sabi ko at agad akong nagtungo sa bathroom.

"Yumi, let's talk. Why are you like that?" he suddenly grabbed my hand, the reason why I stopped.

I frustratingly looked at him.

"Let go of me. We don't have anything to talk to." Pilit akong kumakawala sa hawak nya pero mas lalo niya lanv itong hinigpitan.

"Why are you like that? Did I do something wrong?" Umiwas lang ako ng tingin. Pilit niyang kinukuha ang aking tingin pero mas lalo ko itong iniwas.

Why would you lie?

"Yumi..." he wanted to cup my face pero iniwas ko ulit ito.

"Let me take a bath," sabi ko.

Nang niluwagan niya ang pagkakahawak ng kamay ko, ginawa ko itong oportunidad upang makaalis sa hawak niya.

I heaved a sigh once I entered the bathroom and headed to the bath tub, letting myself drown under the water. Sinadya kong palakasan ang agos ng tubig upang di marinig ang mga tawag niya.

The scene a while ago flashed into my mind. Making my blood boil.

I can't see it clearly kaya napagdesisyonan kong lumapit and there I saw them. They were chatting and he is smiling like crazy. The girl was familiar to me, her face. I think I've seen her somewhere. And based on Xionus expression she's somewhat close to him.

Why is he with her?

Why would he lie?

What did they talk about?

These questions are sinking in my brain making me more frustrated at the same time mad. I wanted to question him pero baka mas lalo lang akong magalit sakanya.
