jeon jungkook.
reading his specific name off of your screen you did not hesitate to swipe, answering the call — bringing your device up toward your ear as you attempted to steady your breathing.
"are you busy?" are the first words, you heard from his stern, however serene voice.
"no, n-not at all." you slightly stuttered in between your sentence due to your unsteady breathing, and for the small sob noises, that would leave your lips unintentionally — you mentally cursed, at yourself.
"meet me at banpo bridge, the rainbow fountain in ten minutes." were his last words.
without given an opportunity to question jungkook for the exact reason he recklessly ended up the call, as you remained flustered and dumbfounded at the same time.
you tossed your phone to the other seat, before you step down on the peddle, on the way to the specific destination, jungkook has informed you to head to.
𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐏.
arriving to your specific destination, that thankfully wasn't too far from your previous whereabouts, you exited your car, and walked toward the railings that were not too far away from you.
placing your hands on the cold metal, your lips part amazed from the view amongst you.
you stared up towards that bridge, seeing the water stream down with many colours running through it in a arched way resembling a magnificent rainbow. the banpo bridge was one of the most famous areas with a pulchritudinous view for pedestrians to visit, in seoul. it was one of your favourite places to go to.
to your surprise, there is barely pedestrians that're nearby you, like there usually would be.
the rainbow fountain is a common place, for people to visit — especially at night to admire the beautiful bright colours to attract your catch of sight. and it'd shocked you when there was barely anyone nearby.
you waited a couple minutes, with your gaze fixated over the arched fountain that shone brightly as cars would consistently be driving over the large bridge.
continuously staring towards the fountain that had water running down into the river below you really felt like this area, was your comfort zone. simply as the moon shone brightly and the darkened sky was bombarded with millions of stars, the view in front of you was absolutely mesmerizing.
you felt heavy weight lift up from your shoulders as the cool breeze, flows through your hair. you closed your eyes, allowing the calm breeze to control your senses as you felt like your head were in the clouds.
however, you were cut out of your thoughts, as you heard a car door shut from a distance.
you opened your eyes — turning around only to see jungkook approaching you from his car, it caused a smile, to unintentionally form on your face. as your gaze was fixated on him, your hands slip away from the metal pole, as you slowly approached jungkook.
jungkook kept his hands tucked into his pockets as he continued to wear a blank expression — his lips are pressed in a flat line as he stood in front of you.
your eyes shifted between him, and the fountain, as you continued to widely smile. "this is my favourite place in seoul.. i'm glad you chose to take me here." you trailed off, as a sigh escaped jungkook's mouth.
you lifted a brow, "what's with the mood?" you said and afterwards let out a laugh. "here," you add, and grasp onto jungkook's forearm, dragging him to the railing, to get a closer view of the rainbow fountain.
