+"filled with idiocy, as always."
jungkook hurled an insult to you before driving off. you scoffed, flipping him off as you watched his car slowly disappear, down the dark roads.
he didn't even say goodbye. how impolite of him.
you shrugged it off, and approached the front gates that lead to your parents house. as you approached the house the two bodyguards notice your presence and approached you with fastened steps."miss are you alright?" one of them said, offering to take you purse from you. you hand him your things as the other lead you up the steps to your parents' front door.
"i'm fine, are they home?" you asked as the other nodded in response.
the bodyguard who lead you opens the front doors.
you entered the house approaching the large staircase that lead to the second floor of the house.
you retrieve your purse from the guard, "thank you, you may go now." you let him off, as they both bow to you from behind, exiting the house once again."darling, you're here?"
turning around, you see your mother standing at the end of the staircase which made you feel annoyed.
"i'm staying here for the night."
"and dohyun?" she asked.
you watch as she walks towards you, up the stairs. a sigh escapes your lips, " we bought you and dohyun that house for a reason." she spoke. you rolled your eyes at her nagging.
"and must you be here, this late in the night?" she asked, tucking her hands into her blazers pockets.
"i intended on picking a few things up, regarding that it was on the way."
your mother sighed, "might as well stay the night, i suppose.." she crossed her arms, walking off — you head up the staircase approaching your old your bedroom you use to stay in, before you were moved out to live with dohyun, in that house you've been currently staying at.
entering the bedroom, you close the door after you and sigh to yourself.
you leaned your back against the door, the thought of your wedding date coming up haunting you. that would be coming up soon in a few months, and you absolutely despised it.
you didn't want to marry at such a young age, and wanted to live your normal childhood life. but with the scandal, that stopped you from being happy.
but regarding that you are forced to be married to a man whom you despise most, that made everything worse.all your parents cared about was the marriage and the contract to make their company rise once again and become successful.
however, you felt as if your father somehow cared. besides you and your mothers relationship, both of you and your father got along. it is too bad that he would consistently be absent for his business trips which would last months.
last year, he was nearly gone for eleven months. his absence was killing you.
you seat yourself on the edge of your bed, scrolling through your device. you look at the contact of the man who paid for your candy, contemplating if you should send him a message.
the scene from the convenience store replayed into your mind, causing you to lightly chuckle. smiling to yourself, you didn't realize that your father was at your door.
"had a fun night?" he asked as you looked up at him, tucking your phone away.
"you're back." you blankly reply, standing up from your seated position and approaching him. your father pulls you into a hug, leaving the door slightly opened.
"you've matured." he spoke, resting his head over yours. "i see you aren't as excited as you were when you were a child." he chuckled, as you pulled away.
"nonsense, i've missed you."
he smiles, walking to your bed and seating himself down. "and how are things with dohyun?" he asked as you remain on your bed, with no expression.
"things are well." you shamelessly lied.
"great." he replies. "he's said the exact same, when i paid a visit. but you weren't there?" he questioned. he lifts a brow, "errands. the day kept me busy." you continued to throw in a few lies, which he believed.
there is a moment of silence, as your father stared at you — his lips were pressed into a flat line, a blank expression displayed on his face.
"you've grown so much it's unfortunate that i had to miss it." your fathers hand caressed your head like how he used to do when you were younger.
"i'm sorry." his gaze fell to the floor.
you had to admit, you missed how close you and your father used to be. he was like your best friend, but ever since, he's been keeping himself busy with the company and such. always revolving his life on working to gain money. it is already safe to confess that he has his workaholic intentions.
"don't be, i understand that you hold plenty of your own accomplishments." you comforted.
he looked at you, the corner of his lips tugging up into a crooked smile. "i'm glad you understand." he responded, as he pulled you into a hug once more. your father pulled away, and stood up from the bed as your gaze followed him. he opened the door, and turned on his heel to face you once more.
"i must get back to work now that it has become an essential. i dropped by to wish you a good nights rest. your mother informed me that you were here." he explains, before flashing a smile to you, closing the door afterwards.
once he left, you fell back onto your bed heaving out a sigh at the thought. your parents don't know what has been going on in your life behind closed doors.
you just wished they new what was going on to you along with dohyun being abusive.
you closed your eyes, feeling exhaustion overcome you. today was quite the adventure, and all you desired was a good nights rest. you were glad that you were at your parents' house, otherwise dohyun would try touching you in bed again.
brushing away your thoughts, you felt yourself soon growing more sleepier each second.
not even a minute later, suddenly your ringer went off indicating that someone was calling you. you sat up from your bed, checking the callers id.
it was dohyun who was calling.
you groaned, reading his name off of your screen. bewildered, you brought your phone up to your ear answering the call after becoming curious as to why he decided to call this late at night.
"what," you spoke, seriousness filling your voice. dohyun was used to your attitude, so it wasn't any surprise to him as to why you answered so coldly.
"not that your whereabouts are any of my concern, but where are you," he asked, the tone in his voice making his question sound like more of a demand for the answer.
"if it's not any of your concern, why bother to give me a call?"
"not coming home tonight? alright." he replied, as a chuckle escaped his lips completely ignoring your question. you rolled your eyes, "and what is it you want? you obviously called for a reason." you added.
"you." he responded.
you grew utterly confused at his statement however remained silent, for him to explain the reason behind his words. what he said was unusual to you.
"tomorrow night, you are to be coming along with me to a nightclub as my acquaintance." he explains, as you immediately scoffed.
"acquaintance?" you questioned.
"never mind, you are coming as my date." he said casually. you deeply inhaled, feeling yourself grow annoyed by his reckless demand.
"like hell, i'd go." you replied. at your response you hear dohyun chuckle before clearing his threat.
"and did i say this was an option?" he asked. "if so, you're wrong. it's a demand." he lastly said before hanging up — not giving you the chance to protest.
fucking jerk.
