The sun rose upon the calm town of Shizuoka as a certain purple haired girl started to wake up with her eyes fluttering open.
She had suddenly remembered everything from yesterday from her getting bullied in the park to her leaving her savior in the sandbox without even thanking him.
This had caused a small ache to appear in the young girl's heart before she sat up and gripped her bedsheets as her lips quivered.
'W-Why did I leave him behind like that without thanking him. No good person would do that. Am I a bad person?' She thought to herself as she kept thinking about the situation.
Kyouka then sighed and looked out her window as she spoke quietly to herself. "Deku..."
"Kyouka, breakfast is ready! Please change out of your pajamas and get ready for school!" Her dad had called out to her which made her jump a little.
She didn't know why she jumped at the noise, her dad was always this loud in the morning. He was like her personal alarm clock.
"Y-Yeah, I'll be there in a minute, dad!" The young rocker shouted at her dad before getting off of her bed and changing into her uniform for elementary school before glancing at her toy guitar which got cleaned up from the day before.
Kyouka Jirou was never one to ponder much on certain topics. Her life was pretty much all about music and she loved it.
But now it felt like something was missing, she felt like she needed something else in her life. A girl her age shouldn't be able to explain this feeling. She figured she would forget about it soon enough so she just shook her head and left her room to get ready for school.

Kyouka was in the middle of walking home from school, obviously a little worried that she would be confronted by those three bullies again.
She had been keeping her head down this entire time in order to hopefully hide her face with her bangs and had even tucked her earphone jacks into her jacket so they wouldn't recognize her quirk either.
So far, her walk home was peaceful just like it was every other day. Maybe those bullies came from out of town and were only there for that one day.
But that would also mean that it would be the same case for the boy who defended her as well since clearly he and the bully knew each other.
This realization caused another ache in her heart as she gently placed a hand on her chest. "N-No, he can't be gone forever. He just can't..."
She stopped walking suddenly and clenched her fists as she started to tear up. Now she suddenly wished she had gotten bullied today just for the chance to see that green haired boy again. The worst part was she never got a clear look at his face before it was all bruised up.
This was certainly a weird thought to have, but for some reason it seemed perfectly normal to her.
"Wait up, Kacchan!" She heard a familiar voice yell out before looking in that direction.
She widened her eyes at the sight of the boy named Deku being pushed to the floor before standing back up, running after the boy named Kacchan.
"God, just stay away, Deku!" Kacchan yelled as he ran with his friends.
The little girl couldn't help but smile and sigh in relief at the sight of her protector still being her. Of course she couldn't deny the slight anger she felt from seeing him pushed down like that.
'Are those two friends? But then why does the blonde one mistreat his friend like that?' She thought as she watched all of the boys run into a forest to seemingly play.
This made no sense to her, all of her friends had treated her with kindness and would all be concerned for each other if someone got hurt.
The world was supposed to be simple and happy with everyone getting along. At least that is what she was taught at school.
But then why?
Why was this innocent green haired boy being treated like yesterday's trash to someone he thought of as a friend?
It just wasn't fair to him, he deserves better.
She soon decided to sneakily follow the boys into the forest to see if maybe her savior wasn't always treated this bad.
"Okay, let's play bad guys!" Kacchan announced as his friends cheered with Deku looking down with visible sadness on his face, expecting the usual part he got in this game.
A finger pointed at him with a smirk. "Obviously, Deku here is going to be the hostage. A quirkless loser like him wouldn't be able to be a hero or a villain in his life." The red eyed boy said as his friends laughed.
"Yeah, you're right, Kacchan!"
"I bet Deku will still be suck as a hostage!"
"I want to be your sidekick, Kacchan!"
Kyouka watched as all of this went down and she only felt herself get angrier. This boy didn't deserve all the praise he got while the green haired boy was looked down upon.
However, Deku turned his sad expression into a happy one before lifting his arm. "I'll do good, Kacchan, I promise! I'll be the best hostage in the world!"
Deku smiled widely as he looked at everyone as if he was proud to have this role. 'Maybe the next time I'll get to be the hero.' He naively thought to himself before they all started playing
Kyouka couldn't understand anything right now. That boy was so brave when he stood up for her, but he won't even stand up for himself when he clearly doesn't want to play the hostage.
'Is he that good of a person? He's so amazing.' She thought with a small smile forming in her face with his happy attitude.
She felt like she was the only person in the world who could understand his feelings and she only kept her eyes on him.

Now all of the boys had finished their game and the young girl did not like what she saw.
The boy named Deku was either ignored or berated throughout the entire game and she noticed that when he was saved by the 'hero', he 'accidentally' got burned a little on his arm by the bully's quirk.
'Why did you do that to him? He was only playing your game and you could've easily taken off those ropes with your hands.' Kyouka angrily thought to herself as she watched all of the boys start to walk home.
She suddenly widened her eyes and looked at the time, noticing that it's been a whole hour since this game began. She was really late and she was sure her parents would definitely give her a strict talking to.
But something in mind her mind ticked when she saw the green haired boy walking home by himself with his head down.
She started to follow the boy as if she wasn't in control of her own body. It's as if she didn't care that she would be late to her parent's house and only cared about seeing this boy.
She made sure to keep her distance as she followed the boy so he wouldn't notice her.
She felt like she just couldn't approach the boy yet. Especially not when she's done nothing for him except being a coward. So for now this was her best alternative to be near him.
When she saw him finally reach his home, she had realized that her home wasn't that far from hers and this filled her with so much joy that she almost giggled out loud, but managed to hold it in.
He seemed to live in an apartment complex and she hoped that he at least had a loving family considering his life with his friends was anything, but loving.
She gave out a blissful smile as she had her hands behind her back, watching as she saw a window light up. "Deku..."
The ache in her heart was now gone and was now replaced with a feeling that she didn't recognize, but she knew that it was the best feeling she could possibly imagine.
She had realized that he was what she needed in her life and he needed her as well even if he didn't know it.
