"It was behind the pickup--"

"No. It was in front of the car." Damon held out his hand to point to the front.

"Yes. I'm absolutely sure. It was right there!" The piece of cloth rustled in the wind and Damon's facial expressions fell, "It was a tarp. We saw a tarp."

The musical machine was now playing once again, "And that-- that is on a timer. That turned on by itself." Damon huffed.

"But your car?" Lizzie crossed her arms in disbelief.

"I left it here in 1994." It sounded like Damon hated to admit it but he did.

"The crossword?" The girl next to Lizzie spoke up this time. Bonnie was so annoyed with everything going on and she just wanted to not be played by petty things.

"You filled it out, Bonnie or even Lizzie did!" Damon sounded angry this time and slammed the pickup truck back all the way.

"Which means we're alone in my own hell with no Grams escape hatch," He squinted his eyes at the thought of never leaving this place, "We're never getting out."

It was sad to admit but Lizzie did feel hopeless in this situation even though she did have her magical abilities. She would help them to get out but she just didn't know-how.

"Give me your ring," Bonnie held out her palm and Damon just looked at her palm in utter confusion.

"What?"

Bonnie then tried to take the ring off of his finger that resulted in Damon grabbing her by the arm to stop her.

"Give me your ring! All I've heard you say is that you have no hope and that this is your hell, so if it's so bad why don't you just end it?" Damon then pushed her away from him.

"Hope is the only thing keeping us going, Damon. So if you're really done, if you have none, then be done!" Bonnie moved towards him and pushed his shoulder in anger.

Lizzie was just there watching the two bicker for the thousandth time. "Because this isn't helping!" With that Bonnie left.

The blonde girl just didn't want to be around Damon because of his behaviour towards her and went to enter the shop to have some alone time with herself.

Whistling to herself and admiring the sound of silence; music was playing in the other aisle and she wanted to walk around a little bit more before going home.

The rustling of a bag was heard and Lizzie rushed around the corner to come face to face with the thing she wishes she would never see again.

It was Kai Parker in flesh and bones sitting there on a deck-chair with his mouth covered in pork rind crumbs.

Her whole world came crashing down, tears filling her eyes and she only wanted to die at that moment.

The guy who brutally murdered her in his family's home; shaking in the spot as he stopped munching and looked at the girl who changed his life before.

"You look so much prettier in person now, you know?" Kai brushed his food covered hands on his shorts and then stood up to walk in front of her.

Whimpering and sobbing, she stood there in utter shock and sadness. He twirled around her and his breath was felt on her neck, "Did you miss me?"

Lizzie turned around and pushed him back, "No! Of course, I didn't. You're completely insane! You killed me and the rest of your family! Think about the happy memories, Kai! You ruined your future!"
