Apparently asking Ric where Damon is wasn't so hard after all. Alaric had told Lizzie that he and Damon would go into a cave for some bizarre plan.

"Now..." a voice was heard with a sigh, "you got to have a bottle of bourbon stashed in here somewhere."

The voice of course belonged to Damon Salvatore, the one who Lizzie was looking for, she cleared her throat as her face stared right into Damon's back, "I have some if you'd like it?"

Both Damon and Ric turned around to look at Lizzie. Ric wasn't as shocked as Damon was -- obviously, Ric didn't know what Lizzie would need him for.

Lizzie stood there with a bottle of bourbon in one hand, the other placed on her hip as she stared into Damon's soul.

"Didn't think you'd actually come," Damon joked but Ric nudged his side after hearing some rustling behind them.

She tilted her head and gave him a sarcastic smile in return, "Yeah, sorry to interrupt. But what if I told you I had a better idea?" In the mysterious cave room in the back, Kai was revealed from doing his signature iconic wave with a smirk on his face.

Ric's face dropped alongside the mood in the room, Kai flickered his gaze over to his girlfriend and then stared into the eyes of Ric.

No one felt more confused than Lizzie just as Kai revealed himself to actually be alive. The whole reason Lizzie came back to this town was to get revenge on Kai's killer and go back home to New Orleans.

The bottle of bourbon in her grasp had fallen to the floor with a smash that gladly echoed through the caves' walls.

Kai walked over to the group with a smile on his face, "Isn't it weird or what? I mean, I can still touch the stuff," he said as he held out a bracelet from a chest, "More like a psychic imprint. Stuck between dimensions thanks to hell's bell. One foot on Earth, the other in Cade's nightmare world of hurt. On the run, off the grid. A renegade relying only on his wits," he walked over to the other side, "A renegade. That's funny," he chuckled.

The three just stared in shock, "I can still do magic if I siphon myself, but even then, it takes concentration. It's like having cell reception on mars--" Kai was joking and Ric suddenly lunged forwards and held a knife up to Kai's neck, having him up against the wall.

"Damon, I thought you--" Lizzie spoke to Damon but he shook his head and whispered, "Not now, I'll tell you later," he said with a sympathetic look on his face.

Lizzie was shocked at how quick he lunged forwards to attack Kai, "You murdered my wife!" Ric yelled out in anger.

"Ah... Fiancée. It was mid-ceremony as I remember," at this Ric got, even more, angrier by the second and held the knife closer and closer to his neck, "But, yes, yes, yes, huge... huge mistake. I see that now. I do."

A pained look was on Kai's face, "Motus," he said but nothing happened. Kai looked down in disbelief and shrugged, "okay"

"Are you having a hard time concentrating?" Ric asked.

Kai nodded, "Especially when a hot girl like Lizzie Mikaelson is standing there, right in front of me, her gorgeous body--" Damon cut Kai off.

"Hey, Ric. I have some questions," Damon put his hand on his shoulder.

Ric has been pulled away from Damon and he stood next to Lizzie who folded her arms, "First of, how the hell are you here?" Damon asked.

"Why don't you guys tell me? You guys rang some giant bell, and suddenly, I could see Mystic Falls, so I went for it. And here I am... sort of. Please don't tell Cade," Kai begged.
