Colin's P.o.V.
"Are you fucking serious River?!" she growled.
"I don't know... she was suddenly standing in the doorway babbling something about we had a thing... who's on the plan?", I said coldly.
"Alac. His left hook is pretty weak, you should be able to take him out with a kick to the hip. Go get warmed up. I'll take care of your stalker..." said River with a grin.
Relieved, I nodded and headed for the locker rooms.
Lucy's P.o.V.
"How's Ally?"
"Fuck off. You can see he doesn't want you here."
"Why are you doing this to me...?"
"He's in top shape, if he weakens now over some petty bitch, all my money goes down the drain."
I whined "I won't stop.... Until he recognizes me..."
"He's lost his memory, kiddo. He thinks we're still best friends. There's nothing you can do about it. He won't remember you anymore."
"He will! I can't live without him," and tears were already streaming down my face.
"He can live without you though.... find someone else, other mothers have beautiful sons too."
Warmed up, Colin joined us again.
Colin's P.o.V.
"When does the fight start?"
My hands were already tied up tight and the adrenaline, or testosterone, was swelling inside me. I desperately wanted to punch someone in the face. The girl looked me in the eye, kert and ran outside.
"Right now. Get in the ring already.", River said and patted me on the shoulder.
People cheered as I entered the ring, which is why I spun around, grinning. I was back.
Lucy's P.o.V.
I turned around and ran out of the fightinghall. Sweat was running down my body as I arrived home where I wend to my room and got in the shower, trying to calm myself down. I cried until my eyes were already completely red.
In the following weeks I just lay in bed, barely talked or ate, didn't go to school, thought only of Him. Two weeks passed... My last visit to the hospital at your bedside was a month ago, but it felt so much longer.
Colin's P.O.V.
My career was going uphill. More and more people wanted to fight me, the pressure was mounting, but so was my enthusiasm for the sport. According to Keith, I was becoming more unpredictable, more explosive, colder, which was one of the reasons we were growing further apart. He tried to convert me. But that was just me, and I loved that feeling of power. Today I would fight the best of the streetfight scene and I was looking forward like a baby. The night I had hardly slept with anticipation. Today I would step out of the ring as the best fighter in the world, I had no doubt about that.
Lucy's P.o.V
I was reading a book while the dog, Silas, lay next to me in bed and licked my cheek.
"Hey, there's someone who wants to talk to you. I'm purposely not saying the name now, but he says it's urgent.", said Kai, who just got in my room.
"Okay... Do you want me to come?"
"Yes he's waiting downstairs."
I went downstairs, Silas beside me.
"What the?" was as far as I got.
"Hey." Grinning as ever, he stood there, hands clasped in front of his crotch. "Is that any way to greet an old friend?"
"Old friend.... What do you want, River?"
"Would you like to see your loverboy in action? Today he has his most important fight and I think he'd be happy if his stalker was there."
"You son of a bitch took him from me and you dare?!"
Pow, that slap of mine was firm.
Slowly he turned his head back to me.
"I'm not hitting back now out of loyalty to my buddy...then I'll just watch him die alone. Bye."
"What, why should he die.... He knows what he's doing...", I muttered worriedly.
A fake laugh escaped his lips.
"He's fighting the Jawbreaker.... the world champion... And you know Colin's provocative nature.... I'll give him five minutes."
"You want revenge?"
"Revenge is such a bad word.... I call it retaliate."
I stared at him, filled with hatred.
"So are you coming or not? Are you going to convert him or not?" Grinning, he took a few steps back.
"I want to say goodbye...I'm coming with you"
"Good get your clothes... I'd recommend something hooded...people can be pretty sick." Winking, he turned and walked to his car. "Hurry up."
I put on what he recommended and then ran to him and sat in his car.
"Let's go." Smirking, he drove off and took us to the boxing gym a few minutes later. "We still have five minutes."
I quickly looked down at the floor and silently mourned seeing him in a corner.
Colin's P.o.V.
Anticipating, I boxed into the air and practiced a few kicks while just waiting to finally be called on.
"Hey bro... how's it going? You scared yet?", grinning, River stepped in front of me and dodged my fist at the last moment.
"What should I be scared of?", laughing, I stopped and shook out my arms. "I never lose."
My grin disappeared when I noticed the girl next to River. Not her again.
"I love you... Colin," she breathed.
Sighing, I turned to her as my name was called as well and I turned to the ring in anticipation as I heard my buddy call out something to me.
"Good luck, kid. You're gonna need it.", he said.
Laughing, I gave him the middle finger and jumped the barrier. Let the dight begin. Like every time, cheers and shrieks rang out, making me feel alive. Damn I loved it.
Lucy's P.o.V.
River casually put an arm around my shoulders.
"Enjoy his last minutes of life."
He couldn't be serious. I swatted his arm away.
"Don't touch me!"
Colin's P.o.V.
The Jawbreaker now joined me in the ring as well. He was a huge hunk of muscle, so (hopefully) meant he couldn't move that fast. His gaze locked on someone in the audience and I realized right away that there was someone waiting for him. He was weak.
Rivers P.o.V.
"Always so prickly. You and Ally would get along just fine." I smirked and watched Jawbreaker point his knife. Now it would happen.
Colin's P.o.V.
Excitedly I waited for the gong and jumped jitterily from one foot to the other, but it didn't come. Silence made itself ready in the audience, and restlessness broke out when the voice of the speaker sounded as well.
"Since this is a fight on honor, we ask the fighters to be searched for illegal weapons and to do the girls some good, to take off their tops."
If that one wasn't gay. Smirking, my gaze swept over the gawking women as I removed my t-shirt before my eyes locked with hers. She gently shook her head as we made eye contact. Her tear filled eyes were probably already burning as she stroked them uncomfortably. I quickly turned away as one of the girls came up to me and patted me down for weapons, which of course I didn't have.
"I think this is where I'd have to look more closely.", she purred as she grabbed my cock.
Grinning, I released her hand.
"No, don't worry, it's really that big."
Winking, she bit her lip and moved away from me while saying:"Colin's clean."
