Lucy's P.o.V
I sat in the shock room, the doctor wanted to look over me once, Kai sat next to me and tried to calm me down, but I didn't let him touch me and certainly not this doctor, he was suspicious to me.

"I'm fine! I want to see Colin, damn it." I yelled at him.

I was really grateful to Kai for staying here with me.

Kai's P.O.V.
Sighing, I sat back, feeling like I was in deja vu.

"Thanks for finding him," I murmured softly to Lucy, just hoping that Ryan would show up soon, because soon I couldn't stand to look strong anymore.

Inside, I had already died a thousand deaths because of this complete idiot.
The doctor looked at me, so Lu took advantage of that moment, jumped up, sprinted out of the room and probably started looking for Colin.

Lucy's P.o.V
"Colin.. He was admitted here 15 min ago." I said frantically to the lady at the reception.

"I'm sorry... only relatives are allowed to see him."

An apologetic expression was on her face.

"It's okay... he doesn't have any family left, I'm kind of his guardian." a rough male voice said.

A man, dressed completely in black with bruises all over his body, appeared behind me.

"What's your name? I need to check if that's right," the lady said.

"River. River Adams.", he spoke.

I felt much worse than before. I could remember him, that name.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?", I addressed him.

His gaze slowly swung to me before he nodded after the receptionist let him know it was okay. I walked a few feet away and then looked him in the eye, hiding my fear.

"You guys fought yesterday, so why the hell are you here?"

"I got a call when he was admitted here.... I want to know how my best friend is doing, don't I?" his voice was ice cold and except for a small fake smile, nothing moved on his face as he casually leaned against the door frame.

"You promoted your friend here, so don't act fake," I hissed angrily, forgetting my fear. "You're taking me, I want to see him!"

"Are you his newest toy? Just FYI, he wanted to kill me as much as I wanted to kill him, so I didn't do anything wrong.... he actually won the fucking fight."

"From the looks of it, you're not doing too bad, though."

I thought about the pocket knife in my back pocket, but quickly dismissed that thought.

"Is the benefit of ketamine."

He winked at me before walking past me and back to the receptionist.

"It seems like what they said is true. May I see another ID card from you?" she asked.

Silently, he put it down for her and waited for her to finally let him see Colin.

"Okay. I'm sorry you had to wait so long. You can see him now. He's in the ICU.... You know you have to use the patient power of attorney to decide what happens to him?" she asked, a pitying expression forming on her face, which he dismissed with a curt nod.

"Yes, I'm sure I'll make the right decision."

I stopped so I could follow him if he went anywhere. I would not allow Colin to be lost. I was almost aware of what this bastard was up to.

River's P.o.V.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw her getting ready and knew I wouldn't be able to turn her away.

"You know you can't stop me from anything?", I clarified.

"I hope for your sake you haven't underestimated me, because I'm not going to let you make me lose it," she growled, the few muscles she had tensing.

I rolled my eyes and took off at a fast pace.

"When I tell the doctor to turn off the machines, he does. The advantage of a patient power of attorney, no one can interfere with you.... But don't worry, He is still alive.. yet." I said coldly.

"What do you mean 'yet'? Don't you have a heart? For once in my life I'm lucky and you want to take it away? He is a fighter and he will make it without your help"

Her eyes stared at the door to the room I had stopped in front of. She took another deep breath in and out and then opened the door. She grabbed a stool and sat down in front of his bed.

"He killed my brother, why should I let that son of a bitch live any longer in this world?", I asked indifferently.

"Tim was your brother...?" she asked carefully as she stroked Colin's hand.

Silently, I looked at his peacefully resting face. He had destroyed my fucking life and now I was supposed to save his? He could so kiss my ass. He should have not made me mad.

"I'm sorry about your brother by the way..." she said exhaustedly and put her head in her palms and then decided to continue. "...But leave him alone, anything you want to do to him.... you can do to me as well, but please just let him live..."

You could clearly tell that she had little peace in her and her life was one big disaster. This made me smile.

"What the hell are you doing here? Haven't you ruined his life enough you fucking wanker?"

Slowly I turned around and looked into the fiery eyes of Kai, who had hated me from the beginning. Dumbly I looked at him, when already the first fist came, which probably should have hit me, but felt more like he wanted to caress me.

"Hands off... unlike you, I'm not a fucking faggot who likes to be caressed...", I murmured.

"Kai... Let it go... he's not worth it." she turned back to Colin and stroked his hand.

If only he knew how much I was enjoying this moment and all the power.

"I hate you.", Kai hissed before joining her, which I shrugged and accepted.

"It's mutual."

"You're really acting like shit, considering this is about Colin and not you," the girl with the white long hair whispered.

"It's always about Colin... you should have seen how he acted after he killed my brother...", I said coldly.

"He's probably just been incapable of revealing his feelings, you don't know him for what he can be and not what he is! It certainly wasn't his intention, it was an accident and yes, it's unfortunate that it cost a life, but we don't play by the motto of an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth here.", her voice was calm, but anger quivered within her and her eyes revealed that I would probably be on fire if she had the means.

"I've known him since we were 3 years old.... So believe me, I know him damn well...and you don't know what happened back then...you have no idea."

A fake laugh escaped my lips before I turned around and ran to the doctor, who was already waiting for me.

Lucy's P.o.V.
I just sighed deeply, he didn't know the same Colin I knew. I looked at him as he lay motionless by the bed, I gently stroked his prominent cheekbones.    And I knew that if he was going to go, I would go with him.
