Lucy's P.o.V
Shit, there was no way I was going down there. I'm fucking claustrophobic.
"Hurry up... he hates having to wait.", Tyler urged me, looking around meanwhile.
"I can't get down there.", I whimpered desperately.
"Then you'll just stay outside, Brick, Ty's coming."
Annoyed, River turned up the light when he finally found it and sat down at the metal table. I took him at his word and hid outside. No way would I go down there.... Probably I would with Colin.... But without him like that... No...
Brick and Tyler looked at me doubtfully for a moment before climbing down to him and sealing the bunker.
River's P.o.V.
Taking a deep breath to keep from completely freaking out, I climbed back down to freedom.
"Either you go down there willingly and painlessly, or I'll do it my way..."
"River please I don't want to go down there.... I can't stand it! Not in tight shafts and rooms!", she began to cry and backed away fearfully.
"Fine, my way then."
Pissed off, I stomped toward you, trying not to explode.
"Please leave me alone.", she cried crying and pushing away from me.
She was breathing erratically and begging me not to hurt ohr. I was about to reach for her when she jumped up whimpering and turned around before running away. With clenched fists I followed her and pulled her up by the arm.
"You wouldn't have to be afraid of me if you'd fucking do what I say.", I hissed and led her to the hatch before throwing her over my shoulder and taking her downstairs where Tyler and Brick were nervously pacing.
Relieved to finally be safe, I lowered them down and closed the bunker for good. I watched her, breathing quickly as she looked around, panic reflected in her eyes.
Lucy's P.o.V.
I glanced around the room fleetingly. A table, three chairs made of wood, matching the table top. There were 2 compartments bolted to the wall, on them were bottles of whiskey, vodka, rum and many more drinks. The walls were a dirty white. It was all very bare. Then I felt that dreaded feeling in my chest, I didn't have my pills with me, this morning I was going to take one, then I didn't. Since Colin wasn't there, I really didn't care, well I had a short relapse by doubting everything. I had to take care of River. Shit, why did I promise him that?
So I slowly fell asleep, I don't know how much longer I had, my hand was shaking slightly.
Shortly after, I was grabbed firmly by the arm and shaken. River looked at me suspiciously.
"Can you explain to me why your hand is shaking?"
I tiredly opened my eyes, having closed them in a moment.
"I'm just cold..."
"Lucy. Where are the pills? I know you didn't take them.", he growled at me.
"I took them."
He looked me firmly in the eyes.
"I took them...", I repeated.
I told the truth, I teally took them... and then threw them away.
"Did you swallow them?"
"Yes"
The toillette swallowed them.
I rolled my eyes and bit my tongue to keep from screaming as he gripped my arm tighter. He crushed me and I fled to another corner, but he came after me.
"Well, you'll take your pills my way now.", he glared at me and pulled out the package.
He grabbed it hard, so I immediately tore myself away from him and wanted to run away. But where to?
"I don't want to." I whimpered.
"You just have to swallow it.... Nothing more...", Tyler sighed.
"Well, you can pretty much take that the wrong way.", River grinned.
I squealed as he grabbed my arm and pulled me to him.
"Open your mouth."
I shook my head and squirmed back and forth.
"You're not getting out of here...remember what I used to do when you were being annoying? In the dream, you do remember.", he stroked the initials on the inside of my upper arm, covered by the tattoo.
It hurt to remember, even if it was my father doing it to me, River only made it worse.
"Okay...that's enough...you're not going to hurt her!" sighed Tyler.
"Just wanted to remind her, after all, it could happen to her again. So... Open your mouth."
I opened my mouth shakily as River placed a tablet on my tongue. I tried to swallow to make the taste go away, but he wouldn't let me.
"Oh no.", he laughed. "I decide when you can swallow, that's for always having to argue for so long."
I look up at him with tears in my eyes. No, I can't take it anymore! I swallowed whereupon I immediately got a slap in the face from him.
"Did I give you permission to swallow?", he hissed.
I shook my head and looked to Tyler who said that River should finally stop the humiliation.
"Chill your balls", he stood up and rolled his eyes.
I held my burning cheek and didn't dare look at him. I went to another corner again. I slumped down against the wall and rested my head on my knees. My body was shaking and I did not withstand this feeling very well, already after a few more minutes I looked up. My body was no longer missing the pills, but in compensation my claustrophobia was getting stronger.
"River I want to get out... Please.", I hardly dared to ask, I was so scared.
I had never seen him like this before.
Sighing, he grabbed a bottle of something high proof and sat with me before handing it to me.
"Heard once that's supposed to help."
"I've consumed more booze in your presence than I have in the last 17 years."
I took the bottle from his hand and took a few sips, immediately starting to cough.
"Vodka? You serious?"
Rivers P.o.V
Why was she talking to me, I wasn't being friendly with her. Had she accepted it, for instance? Had she understood that she shouldn't argue with someone like me?
Smirking, I tapped her knee.
"I seem to be a bad influence, I guess."
Winking, I stood up and walked to the others. After a while she leaned quietly against the wall, but then it happened.
"Rivaaa.... This stuff is kicking", she seulled, a little tipsy.
"Go to sleep and enjoy the high while you can."
"No I don't.", she got up and walked around the room going really wrong a few times.
Oh come on... now I remembered why women weren't given alcohol.
"Lie down... Didn't think you could be more of a ballast."
"Ballast? Who? Me? Riviiii you're so mean.", she made an annoyed sound.
It made her seem more like an angry toddler, whining and throwing herself on the floor because her mother wouldn't buy her candy at the checkout.
