Lucy's P.o.V
I let myself slide down the wall, it was hard and rough. It was crumbling away in some places. My back felt like it had a thousand scratches now. I looked down at myself... I had my dress on, but it was covered by a man's shirt. That could only have been Colin, the thought made me smile inside. Then I looked up and straight into River's eyes.
Silently, he locked the door and sat back down on the table.

"Kelly... Is she pretty?"

"If you start crying now, I'll freak out...", annoyed, he looked at me.

"I'm not..."

"Good... you don't want to make me mad."

I looked around and remained sitting, exhausted. Silently, he looked at me before smirking and shaking his head, looking at his phone. I laid my head on my knees and fell asleep.

Colin's P.o.V.
My gaze rested on the woman I once loved as she sorrowfully stroked her still barely visible baby bump. "I've decided." Tears came to her eyes as she looked at me.

Lucy's P.o.V.
When I returned to reality a few hours later, I looked around. I was about to start a sentence when I was interrupted.

"What do you want?" he asked coldly, without looking up from his cell phone.

"Another one of Colins Shirts... it smells so good...", I sighed and smiled a bit.

"Thats one of my Shirts.", River said smirking but then turned cold again.

Disgusted I screwed up my face and asked something to distract myself:"Is Colin still there...?"

"He's in his room with Kelly."

I nodded and asked:"And... Um... What are they up to?"

"I don't know.", he mumbles, shrugging his shoulders.

"Can you... Check...?"

"You seriously want me to watch them fuck?"

"I just want to know if they're.... Doing it..."

Sighing, he got up and headed for the door. "You stay here, okay?"

"Yeah... Thanks..."

After a few minutes he came back.

"She's moaning."

"I'll go see for myself..."

"In pain..."

"Why?"

"Abortion." Shrugging his shoulders, he locked the door and sat back down on the table.

"Poor Kelly... How can anyone have an abortion...?"

"She was raped, I wouldn't know if I wanted to keep it myself."

"Oh...I'm sorry for her"

"I'm not... she knew from the beginning that this would happen to her there, but she still wanted to go to him at any cost... it's her own fault."

"Okay... Just don't."

"What?" smirking, he put a cigarette in his mouth. "Make fun of stupid people?"

"You make fun of me too.... And about my feelings..."

"Well, if some wanker's words hit you in an old warehouse, I can't help it either."

I sighed and looked at the floor. Maybe River was right, I shouldn't make my life so dependent on Colin. He reached for a lighter and lit the joint. That stench filled the whole room, but they said they let you relax. I lay down on my side to sleep some more. I inhaled the smoke deeply and exhaled again.

"Why do you care so much how Ally is doing?", he asked as he took a drag.

"I'm compassionate. I know that word is unfamiliar to you."

"I can tell when someone is lying, kiddo."

"How dare you call me that?" I hissed at him, he knee Colin also used to call me that.

Suspiciously, he looked at me.

"No...there's something else.... what are you hiding from me?"

I shrugged:"I just take an interest in the well-being of others."

"Stop lying.", he hissed and jumped up.

"Like I said, I can tell when someone is lying."

"I'm telling the truth, damn it!"

"No you're not and you know it!"

"No, I don't know!", I kept backing away.

"Stop lying!!!"

"I'm not lying!"

His fists shook with tension and he said in a low tone:"You're hiding something."

"Listen... I... I don't have anything to hide. Maybe I saw her once or maybe she went to my school," I breathed.

Rolling his eyes, he sat on the floor. I thought about when I saw her for the first time.... Her lips... Her nose... And the shape of her eyes... It was surreal that she wasn't there now, she had met another version of River.

"She's struggled long enough.... I'm almost glad she doesn't have to be around anymore."

Swallowing, he thought about his words and stared at the wall. I didn't say anything... But what could one say about it...? Silently he ran outside and locked the door behind him again. After half an hour he came back with vodka.

"The embryo has been successfully eliminated."

"May I too?" I pointed at the vodka, desperately needing to switch off.

I didn't say this was the right way to do it, but at that moment it was the only way. Wordlessly, he handed me the bottle after drinking from it himself without batting an eye.

"Thank you," I took a big gulp and started coughing. "Bah! That burns."

"Ever drank vodka?", he smirked and took the bottle back.

"No...", I coughed, holding my throat.

"How old are you, anyway?" He narrowed his eyes as he lowered his head back and took big gulps.

"Seventeen.", I said bluntly and took the bottle from him, taking a sip and handing it back.

"Uhh underage... doesn't that make Colin liable to prosecution?", smirking, he emptied the bottle and set it beside him.

"Thanks for leaving some for me," I said wryly.

"You're already coughing from such a minimal amount, it won't get better if you drink more."

"Maybe not, but then I can finally switch off..."

"Enjoy life while you can." It was obvious the alcohol was talking.

"What do you mean...?", I asked, eyeing River.

"There's a lot of shit coming at you that's going to bring you to your knees.... so be glad you can still stand and enjoy the time.... You never know when suddenly it's all over and you'll never see your loved ones again."

"He'll be leaving later today. I... Can't stand anymore anyway... So it doesn't really matter if anyone wants to break me...", I breathed and leaned back "I can't guarantee that I won't start crying now", I said, putting my head in my neck and trying to keep the tears inside.

"If you cry now I'll be gone and you'll be sitting here alone...", he warned me and started peeling the label off the bottle. "He's also going to have to stay here for a few more days."

"You're so perceptive." I smirked, wiping away tears.

"I know... if you want to cuddle, there's a cactus back there...", exhausted, he leaned back and tried to find a few quiet minutes.

"Well thanks..."

"What would you do if I kissed you right now?", he asked hypothetically, smirking as he looked up at the shaking ceiling.
