I Was Defending You

Ty's POV:
"What's wrong Lewis? Did your Mummy and Daddy forget to change your diaper?" I snap back.

"At least my parents are still together!" Jackson retorts.

"Jackson! Don't." Annie hisses, knowing that hit a nerve for me.

I probably look about ready to kill him, and Annie talking to Jackson definetly isn't helping.

"Least my parents care about me." I snap.

"But no one hear does." Jackson yells.

"Huh. You shouldn't talk." I roll my eyes.

"No. I can actually. I have the guys from baseball. The girls in our year tolerate me. Even your friend Annie likes me more than you." Jackson spits back at me.

"Don't you dare bring her into this!" I yell feeling my nostrils flare.

"Oh why not? Cause your such an ass you can't say 'I Love You' back?" Jackson teases.

"Seriously guys?" Annie asks frustrated.

"This is not the time nor the place!" She yells standing between us.

"Annie. Please move out of the way." I snarl at her angrily, my eyes on Jackson.

"No." She declares, standing her ground.

"Yeah calm down Townsend." Jackson says. Annie glares at me and I start to walk away.

I hear Jackson joke to one of his friends, "He's just jealous about Annie." and suddenly I'm right in front of him punching him right in the face.

I get met with a punch to the nose which knocks me to the ground. We grapple on the ground for a while as I hear Annie screaming and trying to separate us.

"Stop! Get off of him!" She screams, silencing the room. Her delicate hands pull me away from Jackson. She glared at me for a second before pushing me away and rushing over to check on Jackson.

After she sits him down on the couch she marches over to me, grabs my arm and pulls me outside. "What the hell was that!?" She yells. I've never seen her cause such a scene in public. This can only mean one thing.

She is seriously angry at me.

"I needed to put him in his place." I say back.

"No you did not! You idiot!" Annie yells.

"You did not have to take the bait. You should have just walked away." She yells, making pretty reasonable arguments.

"I was defending you. He kept bringing you into this." I state stupidly.

"No. You were doing this for yourself. I can handle myself, thank you very much." She spits.

"And I have never doubted you couldn't." I defend.

"That's a lie." She mutters rubbing her eyes. I only just realised that she is crying.

"Now stay still. Let me take a look." She says lightly touching the skin around my eye.

"Ow!" I scream.

"That's what happens when you go round talking crap to guys who can easily beat your ass." She replies.

She gives me a slap across the other cheek. "And thats for being a complete dick." And walks off as Jackon walks out of the house.

"Lets go." I hear her say as she helps Jackson into the passenger seat and hops into the drivers side.

I watch as they drive off down the dirt driveway and onto the street. "Ugh. I'm an idiot." I say as I collapse against my truck.

Hi! The past couple parts have been pretty drama-packed, don't worry, the next one will be too.

Omg writing Annie slapping Ty across the face was so much fun. He kinda needed to have some scence knocked into him.
