Ty's POV:
As I help Dana Sue set the dining table I hear the front door open.
"Hey Ronnie." Dana Sue calls out as he closes the door behind him.
"Hi darling. Hi... Ty." He notices me setting the table.
"Hey Ronnie. How are you?" I ask as I shake his hand.
"Good handshake young man." He comments happily.
"I invited Ty to stay for dinner." Dana Sue explains as Annie walks over.
"Hey Dad." She says hugging him.
"Hi Annie." He replies noticing her fingers intertwined with mine.
"Ty the boyfriend." He laughs.
"You're not a little girl anymore are you?" He asks Annie as Dana Sue carries over four bowls of pasta.
"No, she's not." She laughs as we all sit down.
"So, Ty what's the plan after school?" Ronnie asks as soon as Dana Sue serves dinner.
"Dad!" Annie exclaims.
"I'm just making conversation." Ronnie defends.
"It's okay. I'm going to go to college and after I'm hoping to play professional baseball." I say as Annie holds my hand.
"Sounds like a nice plan." Ronnie smiles, making me feel a lot more comfortable.

"Thank you again for dinner Dana." I say as Annie walks me to my truck.
"I'll see you tomorrow." I whisper as I kiss her softly.
"I love you for putting up with my family for me." Annie smiles.
"I love you because you do the same thing for me."
"Bye." Annie waves as I climb into my car and drive home.

It is only a couple days out from the wedding, and Mum is fluttering around the town trying to triple check all the wedding details.
"Mum just chill. Everything is ready." Kyle assures Mum.
"I'm fine. Just a little nervous." She fakes a smile as Katie rides her bike ahead of us.
After taking a deep breath she continues, "I'm sorry. In hindsight I guess I have been very preoccupied."
"It's okay Mum, just remember to relax a little." Kyle smiles.
"I promise." She laughs as she hugs us both.
* * *
I wake up in the late morning on the day of the wedding as I hear multiple sets of feet walking downstairs.
"What's up?" I ask as I see Annie, Helen, Dana Sue, Katie, and Nana sitting around the lounge room, drinking tea and eating breakfast.
"Not much. Your Mum is in the shower and once she's done we are going to help her get ready." Nana explains as she passes me a slice of peanut butter toast.
"Thanks." I say as Katie runs over to me.
"I'm going to be a flower girl today!" She squeals twirling around in her lilac dress.
"I feel like a princess!" She exclaims as we all laugh before Mum walks out in her pajamas.
"I'm ready." She smiles as Dana Sue, Helen, Nana and Annie stand up.
"Can you please bring Katie up after she's had breakfast?" Mum asks me.
"Sure." I say as they all walk upstairs and I turn to Katie.
"What would you like for breakfast?" I ask as she smiles brightly.
"Pancakes." She giggles.
"Pancakes? Okay, let's see what we can do about making some pancakes." I say as we walk into the kitchen.

After Katie finishes her pancakes I walk with her up to Mum's room, Kyle finally emerging from his bed, trailing tiredly behind us.
"I hate mornings." He grumbles as we walk into Mum's room.
Annie is laying on her stomach on the bed while Dana Sue and Helen curl Mum's hair at the wall mirror. Nana is sitting in the corner, reading a book.
Mum sits in a long white robe on a stool, wearing a full face of make-up.
"The hair is all done." Helen says proudly as Mum inspects her hairstyle.
"Thank you, it looks amazing." She smiles, hugging Helen.
"Dana, can you help me get into the dress?" Mum asks as Dana Sue agrees and walks her to the ensuite.
"Should we be getting ready?" I ask Helen, who shrugs.
"We are leaving for the church in an hour. Get ready whenever you like." She says as Katie climbs onto the bed next to Annie.
"Me and Kyle can take turns showering now and get changed into our suits." I suggest as Kyle nods and we walk into the hallway.

Kyle and I both wear a grey suit with a white collared shirt. I wear a suit jacket and Kyle wears a suit vest instead.
"You two look very handsome." Annie complements as we walk back in.
She's already has applied some light make-up and is wearing a spaghetti strap lilac dress that just touches the floor. Her dark wavy hair falls perfectly across her back.
"You look pretty good too." I say kissing her on the cheek.
"Why thank you." She smiles as Mum yells.
"I'm ready for my enterance." After a few moments she walks out of the bathroom in her simple white dress.
"You look beautiful Mum. Cal is a lucky man." I smile as she kisses my cheek.
