Goodnight

Ty's POV:
The room settles into an awkward silence as crickets chirp loudly outside. Normally I would find the noise annoying, but it stops the room from being completely silent.

"Um... do you want to see where you will be sleeping?" I ask, even though I know she knows where Katie's room is.

"Sure." Annie responds as we walk up the stairs.

I swing open the door to Katie's room, flip on the light switch and plop her bag down on the end of the bed.

"Aww." Annie says, looking over at all of Katie's teddy bears that have been tucked onto her bed.

"Yeah, she's got a lot of toys!" I laugh as we settle back into silence.

"Um, do you want to have dinner?" I ask, as my stomach growls.

"Okay." She says, walking back downstairs.

I quickly warm up some left over pasta, and pour it into two bowels.

Maybe I am just a teenage boy and eat a lot in comparison, but I swear Annie hasn't eaten anything, as I wash my empty bowel in the sink.

After about ten more minutes of talking about school, Annie still hasn't eaten anything.

I contemplate asking her about it, but I'm not sure what I would say. Maybe she ate an early dinner before she came here?

We end up watching a movie on Netflix, after we get ready for bed. I turned the lights off and made popcorn to get the full movie watching experience.

She sat right next to me, her big brown eyes glued to the TV screen.

Her cheeks are a light shade of pink. Her freckles sprinkled across her nose and cheeks.

At the scarier parts in the film I notice her biting on her bottom lip. Cute.

I ended up just watching Annie watch the movie. She's so goddamn gorgeous.

When I turned the TV off after the movie finished, we sat in darkness. I've never wanted to kiss her more.

She turns to face me and before I know it my hand is caressing her cheek. We are very close, my breath on her cheek, our lips getting closer and closer.

All of a sudden Annie's phone rings. You gotta be kidding me? Seriously, who ever is texting her has horrible timing!

Her face turns pale as she looks at her phone. "You okay?" I ask. She nods and basically jumps off the couch.

"I'm starting to feel tired. Goodnight." She says, walking up the stairs before I can ask her what's going on.

************************************
Sorry that this part is so short! I haven't had much time to update.

I have a quick poll to find out your ideas:
*Who will Dana Sue end up with? Jeremy, the farmer or Ronnie, her ex.
*Should Nellie and Kyle date? Yes, no.

Thanks and as always, I hope you are having a lovely day where ever you are in the world!
