Annie's POV:
Ty walks me the whole way home, silently. We don't really need conversation though. We are both looking up at the stars in the sky.I unlock the front door and walk inside. He waits in the living room while I get changed into my pyjamas and brush my teeth.
"Ready to go to sleep?" Ty asks.
"Yep. Thanks for walking me home." I say, getting prepared for the nightmare.
"Could you stay?" I ask.
"Just till I fall asleep?"
"Okay." Ty says sitting down next to me on my bed. I lay down, nestling my head on his chest.
"Goodnight Annie." He says as I fall asleep in his arms.

Sadly, not even Ty can keep the dreams away.
I'm back at the scene of the car crash. This time I'm outside of the car watching my body being dragged out.
Blood is all over me, my leg is bent in a way it shouldn't be and I've got so many cuts and bruises I look like a piece of abstract art.
Then I'm in my body. My leg feels like it's on fire. My back hurts so much it feels like it was bent in half and I can't feel anything around my chest. I can't move or speak. I'm trapped in my body, with only pain reminding me I'm alive.
I wake up screaming and crying. Mum comes running in. "Annabelle!" She yells.
"Just a dream..." I say rubbing my head.
"Do you want some breakfast?" Mum asks when I finally emerge from my room.
"No thanks. I should get to school." I mutter grabbing my bag and walking out the door.
The next three weeks the nightmares continue. I hardly speak to Mum at all. Ty and I don't mention how much I cried on the margarita night three weeks ago.
We also don't mention how he laid with me, until I fell asleep.
I continue putting up with Cece and Ty kissing and holding hands all the time.
Kyle and I have fallen back into our old rhythm. I can tell he really likes Nellie, but whenever she comes up in a conversation he quickly changes the subject.
I've been having regular check ups with Dr. Howie and my physical therapist ever since I got my cast off last week.
My physical therapist is really nice. She gives me exercises to do every night, from things as simple as leg raises to squats to jumping. We haven't gotten to jumping yet, I still find it hard to do the squats.
Dad has been helping at the resturant, to Mums dismay. She never asked for him to help. But he's trying to fix our family again.
I've been busy at the spa cafe with Isaac. We've been becoming really close recently. He's like an older brother I never had, it's nice.
"So how is Ty?" Isaac asks as he scrubs the cafe counters. Isaac is the only person other than maybe Gabe who knows the full story between me and Ty.
"He's fine." I mutter sweeping the floor.
"How come we always have to clean up?" I ask.
"I have no idea. Maybe because we are the youngest." Isaac says as I hear the front door open.
"Sorry, we are closed-" I trail off seeing Ty standing at the door, wearing his green Corner Spa employee t-shirt.
"Hey. My Mum dropped me off to help clean up. She would be here but her and Helen had to go to Charleston for some reason." Ty says.
"Aunt Helen has an appointment at a fertility specialist. She told me about it last week, when we went to the movies." I explain.
"Oh cool." Ty says.
We stand awkwardly at the door for a while untill he finally walks past the doorway.
"Hi Ty. I'm so sorry guys, but I got to go back to the resturant. Can you guys handle the rest of clean up?" Isaac asks. He doesn't need to go to the restaurant, he just wants to leave me and Ty alone.
I give him a death stare as he walks out the door. I mouth the words "Don't go!" as he just smiles at me and closes the door.
"So where do we start?" Ty asks.
"The kitchen and cafe area I guess." I say.
We finish cleaning the tables, chairs and counters pretty quickly. "So, how's Simon?" Ty asks.
"I don't know. At school he seemed fine I guess." I say.
"Oh yeah. So um... are you two..." Ty trails off.
"No, we are not dating. We are just friends." I say bluntly.
"Oh okay." Ty says as he grabs the mop out from the cupboard.
While Ty mops the floor I put all the chairs up on the table. I can't see where he's already mopped so I walk over to the kitchen area. The floor is very slippery and before I know it I've fallen onto the floor.
"Annie! Are you okay?" Ty asks rushing to my side.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I say through laughter.
"What?" He asks.
"We always seem to meet like this. Me falling, you by my side." I laugh. Ty smiles while helping me up.
We keep the conversation pretty light while we finish cleaning the rest of the rooms.
Walking home side-by-side with the sun on our backs, warming us up, all I can think about how easy and natural this feels.
I look over at Ty as he holds his hand out towards me. As I take his hand in mine, I feel my smile widening.
All we are is two kids walking down the road hand in hand.If only life was that simple.
