Always Have To Be So Dramatic

Ty's POV:
I remember the after-party so well. I was dancing with Cece, then Jackson started pissing me off.

One thing lead to another and then Annie, Nellie and I were running after Kyle. Then Annie said something to stop him running. He turned back to her, tears falling down his face and then he hugged her.

I remember telling Kyle to go home in my car, I would get a ride with Gabe. I was so stupid. Kyle doesn't know how to drive properly!

Then I started to get paranoid and tried to call Annie. When she didn't answer I thought I might have bad reception so I walked a few streets down, then I saw my car.

The car had crashed.

It toke a few moments for me to comprehend what I was seeing but then I quickly called 911. Just as they arrived my phone died so I couldn't call Mum, Dad, Helen or Dana Sue.

I could hardly move. One of the paramedics had to sit me down in front of the truck and calm me down. Then I heard a familiar voice.

"That's my Mum's voice." I said quickly. Then the paramedic helped me stand up and walked over to Mum, Dad, Dana Sue, Helen, and Ronnie, Annie's dad.

"Tyler!" Mum yells as she pulls me into a tight hug, tears streaking her face.

"Thank God, you are okay!" She whispers, tears pouring out if her eyes.

I can see Kyle being brought to an ambulance on a strecher. I hardly have anytime to see the extent of his injuries before they haul his strecher into the ambulance and out of sight.

"Wait, if Ty's out here then who's in the car?" Helen asks. I don't reply but by my expression Dana Sue realises Annie's in the car.

"My baby girl is in that car! Get out of my way!" Dana Sue yells through tears as she trys to get past the paramedics.

"Excuse me ma'am, you have to stay back." One of the paramedics instructs patiently.

"No! My daughter is in the passenger seat!" Dana Sue screams through tears.

"Hold her back, Ty." Mum whispers in my ear. I carefully pull Dana Sue away from the paramedics. She doesn't resist, and then draws me into a hug as we watch the car being torn apart so they can get to Annie.

I can feel tears swelling in my eyes. I can't lose Kyle and Annie! They're some of my closest friends. I need them.

As I turn back to look at the car I see Annie being hauled onto a strecher. She has got heaps of cuts, bruises and blood all over her. I can hear Dana Sue crying harder. Mum and Helen join the hug, while Mum rubs my back.

"It will be okay." She whispers almost to herself.

"Excuse me, Miss. We are transferring them to the hospital. Will you met us there?" One of the paramedics asks.

"Of course." Mum replies instantly.

"Mum, can we go by Jackson's house so I can get Kyle and Annie's stuff?" I ask as Mum walks over to the car.

"Quickly. Your Dad will meet us at the hospital." Mum says in a foreignly impatient tone.

As I walk in Jackson comes right up to me.

"Not now." I hiss at him as I walk over the bowl and grab Kyle and Annie's phones.

"Why not Townsend?" Jackson says. I'd love to kick his ass, but not right now.

"I have to go." I mutter as I walk over to the front door.

"Why? Did you chicken out?" Jackson mocks, getting up into my face.
