Ty's POV:
I felt so angry when I saw Jackson messing with Annie. When I saw the fear in her eyes, I wanted to kill Jackson. After walking her to the resturant, I also wanted to turn around and talk to Annie.
But, I know all I could ever do is hurt her, and that's the last thing I ever want to do.
I feel my phone buzz in my pocket, and when I check the caller ID, I curse under my breath.
"Oh my Lord! Tyler do you know how worried I have been! Have you not seen the time-" I hear a voice yell into the phone.
"Mum, I'm sorry-" I start to apologise.
"No! Tyler, you better be coming straight home!" Mum demands, as I walk into our street.
I can see her outside our house, hanging up on her phone.
Before I can say anything Mum grabs me, and pulls me into a hug.
"Oh good Lord, thank you for bringing my boy home!" Mum prays as her shaky hand pats my hair back.
"I could barely breath, not knowing if something had happened, and not too long after what happened to your brother!" Mum crys, as she clutches me tight.
"I nearly lost one son. I don't want to nearly lose another!" She whispers, crying.
"I really am sorry Mum." I apologise, feeling awful.
"What's the bet you haven't eaten anything! Don't worry, I made enough casserole to feed two baseball teams." She smiles, walking me over to the house.
"Thanks Mum." I whisper as we walk inside.

After a very filling dinner of three servings of casserole, I lay down on my bed, watching the shadows move across the roof
I wish I had have said something under the tree! Why am I so stupid? I've lost my shot now.
Slowly my eyes grow tired and close, only to met Annie in my dreams. She's standing in the middle of a field, smiling, looking as perfect as ever.
She spins around, her hair getting picked up by the wind. When she faces me, she smiles, grabs her camera and takes a photo of me.
I laugh and dramatically pose. Annie laughs as she walks over to me. She places her arms around my neck, as I hug her back.
Then we are laying down side-by-side on the ground. We stare up at the endless blue sky, watching birds fly above us.
Our fingers intertwine as we talk about everything and anything we can think about. As she talks, I notice how her hair spreads out above her while she's lying down.
And I notice how her smile, makes the whole world just a little brighter.
Then all of a sudden, I wake up.
To Kyle standing above me.
"God! What the hell!" I yell, scared out of my mind.
"Sorry!" Kyle says. "You weren't waking up, I was thinking of a way to wake you up, but then you woke up on your own!"
"Ugh, ok... uh. What time is it?" I ask, feeling a little hazy.
"Ten." Kyle replies.
"School?" I groan.
"It's Saturday." Kyle states matter-of-factly, rolling his eyes.
"Then what are you waking me up for?" I ask confused.
"Dad is over for breakfast, Katie wants you to take her to the park, and Mum wants you to work a shift tonight at the spa." Kyle says, as I hear Mum walk up to my room.
"I've been working for weeks!" I groan.
"You want to get your half of the money for a car?" Mum asks.
"Yeah." I mumble.
"Then you will work till you have half the money and your Dad and I will give you the rest. Now get dressed, and come down for breakfast!" Mum says, walking out, Kyle trailing behind her. I groan as I climb out of bed.

Once I get ready, and come downstairs I spot Dad in the kitchen, talking to Kyle.
"-Thanks bud. I'm not very knowledgeable with all this theater play business, but I can't wait to see Hamilton with you." I hear Dad saying.
"Yeah, I can't wait either!" Kyle exclaims.
Kyle and Dad have been hanging out a lot more then they ever have recently, which is good for both me and Kyle. He gets to spend more time with Dad, and I get to spend less time with him. Win win!
"Hey son." Dad says, as I walk over to the fridge.
"Hi." I say awkwardly.
"Me and Kyle were just talking about going to go see Hamilton." Dad says, trying to figure out what to talk about.
"Yeah. I hope you guys will like it." I say truthfully.
"Thanks Ty." Kyle says, pouring some milk into his bowl of cereal. We share a smile as we all walk over to the table.
"So I heard you've been looking at cars, Tyler?" Dad asks.
"Yeah. Neville Wharton has an old 1963 Chevy pick-up truck that's in pretty good condition he's keeping for me." I state, remembering how Neville had boasted about how it was still running like a gem.
Neville actually offered it to me earlier this year, but Mum didn't want me driving yet.
Me and Neville have been talking about me buying and fixing it up for a few years, so when Mum said I could work for a new car, I called Neville up and we had a chat about the car.
"Well, that's great son!" Dad says, as Katie runs into the room.
"Daddy! Look at my skirt!" Katie laughs twirling around in a pink tulle skirt.
"Wow! Don't you look pretty Katy-did!" Dad laughs as we watch her dance around the kitchen, completely carefree.
