Emily's Secret (Jemily)

Chapter 2

Emily's POV

⚠️!MAJOR TW!⚠️

It's been a month and things between Kenna and I are still on the edge. I try to connect with her and we were doing good before that night, I know it hurts her to be hidden from everyone, at work I have gotten closer with JJ we talk a lot more and hang out. I was supposed to leave for work two hours ago but Hotch called and said we didn't need to come in early, I was in the kitchen drinking some coffee when Kenna came came down. She had towels wrapped around her wrist and they were full of blood not expecting me to be home.

"Makenna!" I exclaim and run towards her

"Mom! what are you doing here?" she yells hiding her arms

"Give me your wrist" I say

"No!" she yells and pulls them away she has tears coming down her face and I can feel my own eyes starting to water

"Makenna look at me" I say calmly to try to soothe her

"I'm going to look now okay?" I say to her

"Please don't! I don't want you to see them" she cries

"Hey I'm not judging you I swear but I need to see your arm to help, it is bleeding too much" I say and she nods, I pull her arm towards me and a tear escapes my eye. I take the towel from her and apply more pressure and stops the bleeding but its still an open wound so I take bandages out of the bathroom and wrap them up while she is still sobbing, after I finish I pull her into me and we sit on the floor.

Half an hour later she speaks

"I'm so sorry Mommy" she cries

"You're okay baby, You're okay, I'm so sorry for not noticing" I say

An hour later she calms down still in my chest. I pick her up and move to the couch not taking her off of me. She falls asleep and we just sit there, Tomorrow will be different. Tomorrow she becomes known, I don't care what my mother says, Kenna will not be invisible anymore.

JJ's POV

The work day is almost over and Emily still hadn't come it, we were all worried about her she didn't call to say she wouldn't be in either. I called her multiple times with no answer.

"Anyone heard from Emily" Hotch ask

everyone shook their head

He nods "You all can go home now" he says and we all leave

I debated if I wanted to go check on Emily we have been pretty close lately but decided against it and went home to send her a message

Emily's POV

I got up to get my phone I had dozens of missed calls and texts and ignored them all going straight to Email Hotch that I would be out for at least a week and I see a text from Jennifer that caught my eye

JJ

Hey Em! I hope you are okay and wondered if maybe we could hangout tomorrow. Your place?

I just ignored it and moved back over to Kenna

"Mom?" she says

"I'm here baby" I say cuddling her again

"Thank you" she smiles and I kiss her head
