Chapter 25

JJs POV

It's Sunday now and we were all about to head over to my apartment to get it cleaned up for my parents to stay in while they are here for the week,

They would be here tomorrow and are staying until Friday,

"Hey are you ready?" Emily ask me

"Yea, let's go" I smile and we head out to her car, her and I in the front and Kenna got in behind me,

"What all do you have to do?" Kenna ask

"Just put some of the things they might need out, like towels for the bathroom and get the guest room ready for them" I tell her and she nods

We pulled up to my building and got up to my floor when my neighbor stopped me

"Here you guys take the keys and go on in" I tell them and I give Emily a kiss as they continue to my place

"JJ! It's nice to see you back" my neighbor says

"Well not exactly. My parents are coming to town and will be staying here" I smile

"Oh okay, well it was nice to see you"

"You too!" I say going to my place

"All good?" Emily ask

"Yea" I say as I unpack some of the things I had gotten,

About an hour later Emily left to pick up something her mother had sent and Kenna just wanted to stay here so we did that, I was making us a snack when someone knocked on the door

"JJ someone's here" Kenna says

"Can you get it?" I asked asking my hands

Kenna's POV

I got up and went to open the door and there stood two people I didn't recognize

"Hello? Is Jennifer here?" The lady ask and I hesitantly nodded

"JJ" I said and she walked over and out her hand on my shoulder

"Yea? Oh. What are you guys doing here?" She ask hugging the two people

"You weren't supposed to be here till tomorrow" she says. I'm guessing these people are her parents, she let them in and we walked to the living room

"We decided to surprise you" the lady says

"It's definitely a surprise" she Laughs nervously

"Why's the door open?" My mom says walking in, Yay a party,

I moved from my spot next to JJ and went over to my mom

"Uh Mom, Dad, this is Emily my girlfriend and her daughter Kenna"JJ says

"This is My mom Sandy and my dad Mike" she says

"It's really nice to finally meet you" my mom says shaking their hands, They still haven't said a word and I can tell JJ is getting nervous

"How-How long have you two um been together?" Sandy ask

"About 6 months" my mom answers

"Jennifer Jareau! You have been with this beautiful women for 6 months and didn't think to mention it" Sandy scolds her

"So you accept it?" JJ ask quietly

"Jenny, of course we accept it, we love you always and who you love doesn't change that" sandy says and hugs JJ

"Now it's finally nice to meet you both properly" she says hugging my mom then me

We all make our way to the living room and sit down, Mike and sandy on one side and the rest of us on the other side
