Chapter 9

Makennas POV

The bell rings in 5 minutes and I am so excited, we are all going back to the house tonight, Elizabeth is out till tomorrow, last class of the day and I have it with Oakley and Lyla,. Mom is having JJ over tonight which is cool, the bells ring and we all practically jump up from our tables to meet up with the others,

I was riding with Oakley,
Lyla was driving Grant and Micah was riding with Vic.

"Im so excited!" Vic says when we meet up with everyone,

"Me too!" Micah says

"Okay y'all are going to follow us?" I ask and they nod,

We get to the house and everyone grabs their bags coming to the door.

"Damn your house is huge" Grant says and everyone agrees

We get inside and up to my room when I heard my mom get home

"Kenna!?" She yells

"Upstairs" I yell back and she comes in

"Mom, Oakley, Grant, Lyla, Vic and Micah" I say pointing them out to her

"Hey, my names Emily, also is pizza good for dinner?" She ask and we all nod before she goes back downstairs

"Your Mom is hot" Oakley jokes

"Eww no" I laugh

"She have a boyfriend?" She ask

"Oh my god Oakley shut up" I laugh and playfully hit her arm

"And she has a girlfriend" I say

"So she's gay? I have a chance?" Oakley says again

"I swear I will punch you" I chuckle and everyone laughs

"Y'all wanna go swimming?" Vic asked and we nodded

"Um there is a couple spare rooms that way and a few bathrooms if you need it you'll find it" I say and the guys walk out to get changed

"Can I just change in here?" Vic asked

"Yea, I'm going in the bathroom" I say and walk into the bathroom connected to my room, once I put my bottoms on there is a knock at the door

"Can I come in? I got to pee and finish changing" Oakley asked

"I'm not finished changing but sure" I say and she comes in and pees, while we got our tops on. And walk back in the room to see Lyla and Vic ready,

"I wonder how long it will take the boys" Lyla says

"Maybe they're done" Vic adds and we walk out seeing them in the hallway waiting

"Took you long enough" Micah says and we roll our eyes as they all follow me down to the pool

We get down there and everyone jumps in but me

"Hey I'll be back in a second" I say and run to find my mom

"Hey what's wrong" she ask me when I finally find her tears running down my cheeks

" I don't want them to see my scars" I cry into her chest

"Oh baby they are healing, before long you won't be able to see them. Why don't you put on the long sleeved suit on and have fun" she says stroking my hair

"Okay," I sniffle

"I love you" she says and kisses the top of my head

"I love you too" I say and wipe my eyes running upstairs to change and run back down to the pool
