Chapter 40

Makennas POV

JJ and I were going into the office today after I got home from school, I was super excited and also a little scared, well more nervous. I met up with Grant before school and we got breakfast together, I'm sitting in my second class now, boring as always.

I'm still proud of myself. I have a long way to go but I am almost done with my first year, I'm going into the medical field but more specifically, a medical examiner, I wanted to do something medical but also be close to my mom and this was what I came to, she was really excited even though it would take forever, 4 years of undergrad then another 4 years of medical school, that's not even including all the training it comes with,

I just got out of my third class of the day when Grant called

"Hey"

"Hey"

"Wanna skip our last classes and hangout?"

"Uhhh Yea, I'll be over then soon"

I mean I don't get to see him often and if this is my only chance of course I will spend it with him,

I made it to his room and walked in placing my things by the door and I got in bed to cuddle with him

"I missed you" he says and kisses my head

"I missed you too" I say and kiss his lips, easy at first but then it got more eager, I eventually positioned myself on his lap, still kissing passionately,

I bring my hands down to the bottom of his shirt and pull it off

"Wait wait" he says and pulls back

"Are you sure?" He ask me and I nod

"Most definitely" I smile and he does the same taking off my shirt,

I lay down next to him,  breathing heavily in his arms

"Are you okay?" He ask me

"I'm more than okay" I smile

"You know that was my first time" he says

"What? I wouldn't have thought that" I chuckle and shakes his head

"I love you Makenna" he says. He said it. He actually said it

"I love you too" I smile and cuddle up into his side.

We spend the rest of the time I had watching tv together until it came time for me to leave.

I got out of his bed and put my clothes back on,

"Okay, I'm sorry I have to get home, JJ and I are going into the office" I say buttoning my pants

"It's okay, today is Friday, maybe I can come stay with you?" He ask

"Yea I'll ask JJ, but that can't happen" I chuckle and he nods

"Understood." He smiles

"Love you" I say

"Love you too, drive safe" he says and I start the drive home

I can't believe I did that. I mean it was good like really good and I'm glad I did it, I'm just surprised I went though with it

JJs POV

Kenna was on her way home from school and once she got here we were heading into the office,

"Momma I'm home" she says coming in the house

"How was school?" I ask her

"Uh it was good" she smiles and takes her things upstairs and comes back down
