Emily's POV

Today's the day we leave for vacation, we decided on Hawaii, it's a 2 week long thing and in 8 days is Jennifer's birthday, I have a surprise for her. After I talk to Makenna because she needs to be comfortable with what ever I do regarding her as well,

Penelope was coming with us, she practically begged us even when we didn't tell her where we were going she hacked my card info and seen we were going to Hawaii and kept in until I bought her a ticket as well, to be honest I don't mind, I know She is Jennifer's best friend and Kenna loves her as well, she is really and over all wonderful person to be around.

We were all at the airport now boarding our plane, it's about. 10 hour flight, I was sitting next to JJ and Kenna next to Pen for the duration of our flight, once we take off Pen and kenna both try to get comfortable to go back to sleep, I put my hand on Jennifer's thigh and she looks up at me

"Are you excited?" I ask her and she nods

"Very, thank you" she says and kisses me

"Also thank you for allowing Pen to come, I need someone to talk to when you make me mad" she laughs

"Really?" I joke and she nods and laughs

"I still love you" she says and lays her head against me,

"Yea but not as much as I love you" I say and kiss the top of her head

"This is so much different than the jet" I sigh

"It is! I'm not used to faces we don't know" she says and I nod in agreement,

"Let's try to get some sleep we have a long flight ahead of us" I say and she nods lays her head back down on me

10 hours later we are in our rental car on the way to our house we are staying in

It has 3 rooms, on the shore of the beach along with a pool and a beautiful outdoor patio,

"This is amazing mom" Kenna says as we pull up to where we are staying,

"I thought so since someone was too busy to help me pick" I joke

"I wanted it to be a surprise"she replies and we all walk in,

Everyone goes to their rooms so we could unpack

"Did you need this much stuff?" I ask Jennifer in our room

"Yes" is all she replies hanging her shirts up

"Well I'm going to check on Kenna I'll be right back" I say

"Hey love how's it going?" I ask her

"Good," she says sitting back down on her bed with her phone

"So I need to ask you something" I say and she looks up at me and I reach in my pocket and pull out a black velvet ring box and she lights up

"Now you can't say anything but with your permission I  plan on proposing on her birthday" I say laughing at Kenna gushing over the ring

"Of course! I love JJ I just want to be in the wedding" she smiles

"Of course" I say

"Are you nervous? Did you ask her parents? Does anyone else know?" She starts throwing off questions

"Calm down," I smile

"Nervous? Yes. Did I ask her parents? Also a yes and besides them and you no one else knows" I say

"Well besides me" pen says walking into the room

"Sorry I was eves dropping when I seen the ring" she says and I shake my head
