Emily's Secret (Jemily)

Chapter 3

JJs POV

I woke up in Emily's arms something I didn't think would happen, I'm glad she trusted me enough to meet her daughter, Kenna looks just like her and has an outgoing personality. I try to get up and not wake Emily and she pulls me back down with her

"Em" say and kiss her lips and get up again walking downstairs to make some breakfast and soon Kenna walks down

"This is something I never thought I would see" she says sitting on the stool in the kitchen

"What?" I laugh

"Someone using the kitchen, Mom doesn't cook and I just order takeout when she leaves" she says

"Well I'm making breakfast for you both" I smile and turn back to the stove

"Do you like my mom more than a friend?" She ask

"Kenna"'Emily says walking in

"What?" She replies

"Don't pester JJ" Emily tells her daughter

"But I didn't" she argues back

"Hey, really it's okay" I say and Kenna smiles at me

"Anyway the both of you sit down I made breakfast" I say fixing a plate for the both of them and myself and sitting down

"This is really good" Kenna says

"Thank you" I say and finish my plate

"Well it was nice meeting you Kenna and thank you for letting me come over but I have got to get to work" I say getting up

"Oh, are you going to come back?" She ask me

"If that's okay with you and your mom of course" I say and I give her a hug

"I'll walk you out" Em says

When we get to my car she leans in and presses her lips against mine, she puts her hand behind my head holding me in place

"Em, Kenna is waiting for you" I say

"I know, have fun at work" she says resting her head against mine,

"You have fun here" I smile and give her one last kiss before getting in my car driving to work

Emily's POV

I really like JJ and I love the way she is with Kenna, she didn't get scared when she found out about her, I walked back into the house and Kenna is standing there smiling at me

"What?" I laugh

"I seen that" she says

"Seen what?" I ask

"Don't play dumb! You totally kissed her!" She exclaims

"I did? Hmm I didn't notice" I joke

"Mommmm, it's okay, I like JJ" she says which makes me smile

"Love we need to talk, come on" I say and go towards the living room

"Am I in trouble?" She ask

"No, No we just need to talk" I say

"So how do you feel about starting school? Like with kids your age? It would be a private school but you go with other kids" I say and she lights up

"Really!? You are going to let me go to school? With kids my own age" she says happily

"Yes, if you want to" I chuckle

"Yes! Of course" she says

"Wait- what about Elizabeth, she doesn't want me to be known" she says looking down
