Chapter 44

Makennas POV

It's been about a week since my whole "pregnancy" scare, I got my period the day after  though so that completely calmed my nerves,

I was kind of avoiding Grant since then too not intentionally I just wanted to be sure of myself before I seen him again,

Our professor canceled our last class since we had nothing to do so I was just going to spend that period with Grant instead

"Heyy" I smile walking into his dorm

"Hey" he smiles and I kiss him before taking my shoes off and sitting on his bed

"What you working on?" I ask laying my head in his lap

"A presentation but it can wait" he smiles closing his laptop and throwing it to the side

"I missed you" he says before planting a kiss on my lips

"I missed you more" I say wrapping my arms around his neck and sitting up with him

"Want to go for a walk?" I ask

"Yes" he smiles and kissed my cheek and we both get up and get our shoes on,

We were walking around campus hand in hand and we stopped to get some coffee before making our way back to the dorms

"You want to take a shower?" He ask when we get back

"Yea" I smile and we undress and step in, I turned around and started kissing him as he hoisted me up on his waist

"Don't drop me" I giggle

"I won't" he smiles and kisses around my face

"I wish you could stay tonight" I said after our shower and we are laying on his bed together while I played with his hair

"Me too, Mom wants us to have a "family" dinner tonight" he says

"I know," I say and yawn

"Are you tired?" He chuckles

"Extra curricular activities in the shower is exhausting" I chuckle and she shakes his head

"Take a nap, I'll wake you when we have to leave" he says and kisses my head

"I love you"

JJs POV

I literally had nothing planned for today and was staying in my pajamas the rest of the day, Kenna said she wouldn't be home till a little later than usual today so she could spend some time with Grant. He really is a sweet kid and was with Makenna through everything, he really is good for her.

I stayed in all day and binged "The Fosters" because why not, I didn't even realize when Kenna came home and sat down next to me

"Jesus Christ" I say and put my hand in my chest

"What?" She smirks

"You just scared the shit out of me" I say and slightly hit her arm

"Sorry" she laughs and lays against me

"We have three couches and you want to sit right on top of me?" I chuckle

"Pretty much" she replies and positions herself so she is comfortable

"What's for dinner?"

"You just got home, I have no clue what's for dinner" I chuckle and she changes the channel
