Chapter 60

Emily's POV

It's Makennas birthday weekend now, her birthday is Sunday and she'll be 17! Her friends were able to fly in tonight and they will leave Sunday, and her party is tomorrow.

The team was coming over and Jennifer's parents were also coming down for her birthday.

It's hard to believe almost 17 years ago at age 15 I was giving birth to a sweet 6 lb 9 ounce baby.

It's bittersweet, all that's happened in these past 2 years now.

Jennifer has her appointment on Monday with Dr.Montgomery again, we're going to try once more she said. I don't blame her I think we both got our hopes up and then when the test came back negative it hurt.

We were at home now waiting on Oakley, Kenna and Grant to get here from school. Lyla and Micah would be the last ones to get here and Vic would be here about an hour after Kenna and them.

"Hey baby" I smile at Jennifer laying on the couch, I sat down and put her feet and my lap and started to massage them,

"How you feeling?" She ask me

"What do you mean?" I ask

"She's turning 17 in 2 days, you're getting old" she chuckles

"And here I though I was being nice" I smile motioning  to her feet in my lap

"and I'm happy and proud of her for who she is but I'm also sad that she'll be 18 next year and all grown up." I frown thinking of my daughter becoming an adult

"Yea, she's a good girl and hopefully she'll be here a little longer" Jennifer say

" I don't know what you are talking about, she is never leaving. I will lock her in the house" I chuckle and she rolls her eyes

"I agree," she smiles

"Mom? Momma?" Kenna yells coming in the house from school

" in here" we yell and the three kids walk in

"How was school?" I ask the three

"Good, you're daughter never stops sucking face though" Oakley remarks as they sat down on the couch

"Shut up Oakley" Kenna says with her face red

"I would rather her suck face then come home pregnant" I say and both Kenna's and grants faces turn bright red while Oakley laughs

"Oh my god I'm leaving" Makenna says and goes upstairs followed by the other two

JJs POV

Saturday

Today is the party at the house, everyone should be showing up in the next hour,

Derek and Savannah had their baby and named him Hank, he's such a sweet little guy and resembles Derek a lot

We're just ordering pizza for everyone to keep it simple

Makenna also got to know Meg, Kates niece and they have hung out a couple of times

"Where's the birthday girl? The sweet bundle of joy?" Penelope ask walking in with bags upon bags in her hands

"You did not" I say while she walks in

"I did!" She smiles and Makenna walks over to her

"Hi!" She exclaims and gives her a hug
