Chapter 59

Emily's POV

Today's the day. We are leaving here at 9 to get to Jennifer's OB. It's safe to say we have all been pretty excited, even Kenna who is up at 8:30 wanting to come with us.

She starts her second year of college in two days, she also decided to stay at home again this year instead of campus so she will be here when the baby comes. I'm sure she will regret that decision when she gets woke up at all hours of the night

"Can I come?" Kenna ask

"You want to come to the OB, while they stick some random guys sperm into my cervix?" Jennifer ask, laughing softly

"Well when you put it like that it just sounds weird" Kenna says

"If you really want to come I'm fine with it but I'm not sure you're going to be allowed in the room" Jennifer tells her

"That's fine, I'm going to be a big sister I'm so excited" she smiles and we shake our head

"Well if you hurry up and get in the car we can stop by Starbucks" I say and they both run out of them house and into the car

We were now sitting in the exam room waiting on Dr.Montgomery to come in

I never thought I wanted more kids until I met Jennifer, I cannot wait for us to be moms again, I never truly got to do it right with Makenna so this is a chance to do better

"Hello Hello" Dr.Montgomery smiles coming into the room

"Makenna!  it's been a while, how are you?" She ask her. A little odd that she knows who my daughter is. I gave JJ a questioning look and she waved it off so we guess we'll just talk later

"I'm good,  not ready for school but extremely excited to be a big sister!" She exclaims and Dr.Montgomery chuckles

"I bet" she replies

"We'll, if you want to follow me back to the room, you can put a gown on and we'll start" she says

"Can she come?" JJ ask talking about Makenna

"Yea, if it's okay with you" she says and JJ nods and we all follow her down to a room set up for the insemination

"I'm going to let you change and I'll be back with everything" she says and leaves us in a room

"This looks scary" Kenna says looking around while JJ puts on the gown and lays down on the bed

"It does" JJ says taking deep breaths

"It'll be okay, I'm going to be holding  your hand the entire time" I say and give her a kiss as the doctor comes back in

"Ready?" She ask and JJ nods,

Kenna goes to the other side of her while Dr.Montgomery gets it all set up

"Okay, I'm going to insert this tube, and inject the sperm. Are you ready?" She ask

"Yea I'm ready" JJ smiles and the doctor does what she said and it didnt last more than two minutes

"All done! Now just sit like this for about 15 minutes and you'll be good to go, I'll be back then" Dr.Montgomery says and walks out.

"That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be" Jennifer chuckles nervously

"What if it doesn't work?" She says

"It'll work" I assure her. At least I hope it does

15 minutes later Dr.Montgomery comes back in
