Chapter 41

JJs POV

I was going out with Pen and Kate tonight for a girls night, Kenna was having Grant over which I was a little spectacle about since I wasn't going to be home, I mean I trust her not to do anything stupid and I wasn't going far anyway.

I woke a little before 10 and rolled over to find that Kenna had gotten into my bed some time last night,
I scrolled on Facebook for a little before getting up and going downstairs to make some coffee, after I got my coffee I went back upstairs to relax in my bed for a little bit,

"Get up" I chuckle patting Kenna's back and she just rolls over and faces the other way, after I drank my coffee I left her in the bed to take a shower and get dressed for the day, Grant was supposed to come after lunch she said.

After my shower and I put on a white t-shirt with a light pair of Blue jeans,

I took my mug down to the kitchen to wash it and got a yogurt out of the fridge,

"Come in" I yell in response to the knock at the door

"Hey JJ" Grant smiles coming in to talk to me

"Hey Grant, she is still asleep" I chuckle and he laughs

"In her room?" He ask

"No mine" I laugh

"I'll go get her, make yourself comfortable" I say and get up going to wake Kenna up

"Kenna babes, Grants here" I say and she rolls over again to look at me and she opens her eyes

"I'm tired" she yawns

"What time did you go to bed?" I ask

"Um I came in here at like 4?" She says and I shake my head

"We'll sleep if you want too but your boyfriends here" I say and she gets out of bed and goes into her room. And I go back downstairs,

"She's getting dressed" I say and he nods and she comes down and walks over to him and kisses him

"I'm standing right here" I chuckle and both of their faces get red

"You kissed mom in front of me all the time" Kenna smiles

"That's different" I say and she shakes her head and they both go upstairs

I was meeting with Pen and Kate at 7 and I am just leaving Kenna money so she can order her and Grant dinner

I don't even know what to wear, I haven't been out in so long, I think I'm just going with a simple half sleeved black dress, not doing anything with my hair and maybe a little make-up, I'm honestly pretty excited to be out with Pen again, we used to do this more often after a case, I got my dress out and laid it on my bed and walked over to Kenna's room,
I made sure to knock first,

"Come in" Kenna chuckles and I walk in

"You didn't have to knock" she says

"You're saying that now" I say

"Anyway, I'm meeting Pen and Kate at 7, I'll leave some money so you guys can order food" I tell them

"Okay have fun" she says

"You too, but not too much fun" I joke pointing a finger at them both and their faces get red and I leave them in her room

Pen and Kate just texted and they decided to just get ready here since it's the closest to the bar we are going too.

6 O'clock came around and Kate and Pen had just gotten here

"Where's Kenna?" Pen ask immediately
