Chapter 65

Emily's POV

JJ has been on bed rest for 2 days now and she is so lucky that I love her. Makenna goes back to school today but has been trying to stay home in case something happens, right now JJ and I were laying in bed while she stood at the doorway

"Makenna go to school" I sigh

"But what if something happens?" She ask

"Then we will call you, but right now you need to be out that door in less than 2 minutes if not you're going to be late" JJ tells her

"But-"

"No buts, now come give me a hug so you can go" JJ says and she sighs and walks over giving her a hug and then me one

"You have to promise to call me" she says and we nod

"Love you drive safe" I call after her and sink back into the bed with JJ

We still hadn't had the chance to talk about the job but we planned on it today since we had the house to ourselves

"I got to pee" she says getting up from the bed and walking into the bathroom

Since she has been laying down for 2 days her bleeding isn't as bad, Dr.Montgomery said at least another week of bed rest then we can go in and get another ultrasound.

When JJ finished in the bathroom she came out and climbed back into bed with me with me, laying on her side he had her arms around me and her hand on my boob, she can only lay on her side for so long before it gets uncomfortable

"I really want sex" she says in my ear and I chuckle

"You know but you can't" I say and she sighs and rolls off of me

"I know it" she says

"Can we go back to sleep before talking?" She ask me, we had been up at least 4 times last night since she kept getting sick

"Yea baby come on" I say and she smiles and sits up to remove her shirt and pants leaving her just in her panties. She found out she sleeps better like this and I'm not one to complain, especially if she gets rested,

She laid on her back and I wrapped my arms around her and rubs her arm slowly so she would fall asleep

We haven't told anyone about the placenta previa. Not that we aren't going to but it just hasn't been at the top of our list. Hotch and I are also going to have to find out what to do about the job. Even if I do go through with it I'm not working at all until JJ is cleared.

Looking over at the clock and as it was almost 9 I decided it would be a good idea if I got a little rest while JJ did so I started to drift off alongside her

I woke back up around noon and JJ was  still asleep so I got up and went downstairs to make us some lunch, I just heated up some left over chicken noodle soup we had for lunch yesterday and took it back up to her and she had shifted to where now she was halfway on my side of the bed, I say the two bowls down on the nightstand and got into bed to wake her up,

"Jennifer baby" I say softly, rubbing her back and her eyes start fo flutter open

"Go away" she groans and I chuckle

"I got you food" I say and she perks up

"Soup?" She ask excitedly, soup is definitely one of her favorite food

"Yes" I smile and she sits up

"Can we sit on the sofa?" She ask and I nod, since our room was quite large, we had room for a Sofa which usually we wouldn't use as much but now with it being one of the only 3 places she can go it's getting it's use out of it

Once she was seated on the sofa I handed her a bowl and sat down next to her

"Have I ever told you, you're my favorite FBI agent?" She ask

"You only love me if I have food or sex" I say and she laughs

"Well considering I'm not getting the second option the food is really good" she says and I roll my eyes

"But I love you" she says

"Sure you do" I remark

"Kiss?" She chuckles and I lean into give her a kiss but end up licking a small part of her cheek and quickly pulled away laughing

"Emily Prentiss!" She exclaims and I just laugh

"I love you" I say and she glares at me

Once we finished lunch I took our dishes downstairs and I went back upstairs to sit with her so we could talk now

"I want to go first" she says and I nod encouraging her to continue

"I know that this is something you have always wanted and I and so so happy for you Emily. Im just worried now that you'll be working more and it will just leave Me with the baby" she says

"I know, and I didn't think about this when Hotch asked me to take over. And you're right, with the baby not even being born yet I don't want to have fo work more and we agreed no bringing work home" I say and grab her hands

"But, I think I have a solution that would make it easier, the only difference is now that I will have more paperwork which is really just signing a bunch of shit" I say and she nods

"If I can get Pen to help me then while we are on the Jet back to the  BAU after a case. If she just gets the papers ready i can sign them and it will only be like half an hour to an hour more than what I work now." I say

"Really? You thought hard about this didnt you" she smiles

"I did. And when you go on maternity leave I will stay with you. Meaning Rossi will take over for me at the BAU" I say

"Now this is all pending your approval. If you don't think it will work then I won't do it. My family is way more important than a job" I say and she smiles

"I believe in you, I believe that you will keep your word about not working more. So yes. Of course you have my approval Emily" she says and I put my hands on her cheeks bringing her into a kiss
