•Count - Joseph x Reader

"Joseph..." You whispered, and he tensed up. When you began to work here you were young, a tad younger than Joseph and Claude. You practically grew up together, of course on respectable terms. You were his maid, and as displeasing as that was to you, it was the truth. So when you did mumble his name, he knew you meant it. That you were serious, and in that moment in time you were no longer his maid, but his friend.

You sat down lightly on his bed. "I know it hurts. I know that you don't want to wake up and live with the fact that you can't see him anymore..." Your eyes drifted to him, and he was as still as ever. But he wasn't cutting you short, so that was good. "I miss him too. I know that I'm not sure how you truly feel, I've never lost a sibling before but," You turned to him, and as he heard you do so, he lifted his head up to look at you. "Please do not burden your life like this, because it hurts me to see you so sad. I may be your maid, but when we were young we were the best of friends. So as a friend asking, would you please eat your breakfast?"

"This again?... You know, he's probably found someone better than you, and scrambled off with her and the money, leaving you to rot here with a longing hope." Even the two girls beside Elora looked at her with shock at her cruel words. It was a likely scenario, that could definitely happen. But Eli was too kind to be like that, he loved you, and you loved him.

"He would never! O-once he gets that prize money, we'll finally run away together from all of you! We'll be happy!" Your words were a declaration of war to the girl. "Well, I wouldn't hold your breath, Miss Clark." She mocked the name of your lover as she walked past, making sure to bump into you roughly. You winced at her gesture before holding your arm.

You couldn't wait for Eli's return, once he was back, money or not you'd be happy. You took a deep breath and let it out. You weren't strong, and you weren't confident. Eli would usually defend you had anything happened. But he was not here, all you could do was wait and be patient. So you were, but that doesn't mean you didn't try to start and be strong on your own.

• Nervous - Melly x Reader

"O-oh..." You said with a soft blush. The warmth of the girl was comforting, yet it made your heart race. "(Y/n)." She said softly, and you lightly shivered. Her voice was smooth as honey, and it had a gentle touch. "Y-yes!?" You didn't dare look up, your nervous habits getting the better of you. "I'll teach you what you'd like to know." Your eyes widened, and your stomach swirled. "Thank you..." Your eyes were glued onto the pages of her book, and you were ready to continue with her melodic voice reading the words to you... but there was no voice. She took her arm off of you, and you froze. Did I do something wrong???

"Melly?" You asked, looking up to her, and your face instantly flushed. Oh. You seen her reluctant gesture was not out of distaste, but of revelation. Her hand that was once around you, was now holding her mask up. Her eyes were gentle but striking, and her lips were a delicate pink stuck in a sweet smile. "You're nervous?" She asked, her eyes squishing softly, amused at your expression of pink.

• in another universe - Colonel Dax! Naib x Reader

He stomped to you and you pattered away to his mother. "Miss Subedar please! Don't let him touch me!" You ran behind the chair she was sat in as she brought a tissue to her eyes. "Listen!" She shouted with a crack in her voice. You both stopped in silence and looked at the woman. "Naib is going, (Y/n)... It's his choice." Your heart dropped to your stomach, and had this moment not been so bitter you were sure Naib would've gave you a winning smirk. However his face was blank, besides the soft thankfulness for his mom. "But..."

You knew Naib's mother wasn't any happier than you were, but... you loved him! "Please Naib..." You whimpered, holding his hat and falling slowly to the floor. "Please don't leave." He walked around to you and got on his knee. His eyes were sad at your state... it killed him to see you like this.

"Can we... take a walk?" He asked softly, and in time you looked up and nodded.

(Uhm uh-! For this one qwq;;; I want a lemon, for the plot of the story mainly, but the main theme is angst so I'm going to try my best to add a lemon but it might be a little awkward with where it's placed and how it goes but PLOT so, forgive me for the writing, and I'm not good at lemons either so double the weirdness (● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́))

•Growing Up - Aesop x Reader

"Uhm... Aesop?" You dared called for his name again. "Yes?" He didn't turn to you, not finding the strength to. "Why are you so... cold?" He jumped and turned his head to you finally. "Do I come off as mean to you?" He didn't sound hurt asking, he didn't care what you thought of him. "N-no! Just uh-! You're-... different than everyone else." He thought to himself, working hard to understand what you were trying to say. "Are referring to the way I treat you?"

You nodded with nervousness, as your eyes flicked from his to something else every five seconds. His eyes were dull and sharp, so it was hard to keep eye contact. "I treat you how you should be treated, nothing more nothing less." He turned his head back forward and closed his eyes. "And how would that be?" He sort of upset you, how could he say that? What kind of an answer was that??

"Like an adult."
