I have quite a few chapters in the works but I get uninspired half way through and I didn't wanna 'half ass' anything so they're taking a bit longer I hope you'll forgive me. ♥︎

"Naib you've gone and messed up again." A girls soft voice echoed through the narrow alley, pipes going in every direction. "Well I almost won." Helena supported the male on her shoulder, his leg having a large and bleeding gash. The two young adults tried to oppose the brutal government of their city, but their forces are too strong. Especially with that man with long blades as his hand.
Speaking of cities, they limped slowly through the narrow alleys. Here, it was small, cramped, dirty, forgotten. They only wished to be recognized by their government, but in the lower cities, it was pretty much free will, as long as you didn't threaten the Minister of course.
"Tracy will help." Helena said, her heels no longer clicking as she stopped in front of a door to a seemingly gigantic building. With a strange pattern of knocks, the door opened and they walked in, a trail of blood behind them.
"Wahh! Naib's dead!" A young girl frantically ran down frail, rusting stairs. Her footsteps echoing in the empty building as pipes ran throughout the interior. "He's not dead Tracy, just has a bad leg is all." The red haired girl said calmly, lying the injured boy on a soft, yet roughed up couch.
Tracy walked up cautiously to inspect his wound. "Am I gonna die?" Naib said without a care in the world, knowing he was fine. Tracy would always be the one to patch them up, so he trusted her.
Although she seemed distressed. "I don't know Naib... I don't think I can fix this."
Slight panic set over his features as blood ran down his leg. Helena also seemed a bit worried. "BUT! Uhm... let's see..." Tracy seemed to think before slamming her fist into her hand. "How about you go see Emily?"
"E-mily?" Helena stuttered.
"Who's that?" Naib asked, the only one looking dumbfounded. "I think she's some sort of rebel..." Helena mumbled out. "Yeah yeah! She used to live in the higher cities- like a couple levels from the surface!" Tracy sighed whimsically as her eyes looked up to the metal panels of her ceiling. "Ahh the sky, can you imagine being able to see it?" Everyone took a moment to think about it.
The lower cities were dark and foggy, the only light coming from rusty lampposts and business's on the side of the streets. So naturally, the lower people would long for the sky.
Tracy shook her head. "Well- anyways she's a few levels up from here, I can take you!" The girl said excitedly. "If it'll help dumbo over here get better we have no choice." Helena offered her help to Naib but he refused, standing up on his own.
"... why's she in the lower cities now?" Naib asked, curious about the woman's story. Helena stayed silent as Tracy knew more about the lady. "She was like, a super good Doctor up there a few years back. Everyone went to her for medical help. But one day... her business suddenly started dropping."
They exited the cold, steaming building, and started walking to the main stairs which connected the many levels.
"She started killing the rich, her patients specifically." Tracy said. Helena 'ohhh-ed' and Naib seemed surprised. "How come." He sped up to stand next to the young girl. "I'm not completely sure but I heard she had a friend who was in the lower cities. She asked the government to focus on those more in need of their help since her status was pretty good. They said they would, but when her friend said nothing had changed, and she died. I guess she got angry and retaliated in that way. Hmm I think her friends name was... Emma? No- Leona!"
