Hell~o! I think it'd be cool if you guys listened to something while reading this? I usually write to music I think fits the scene, or mood, and it helps me imagine the story. So uhm, SoundCloud is good, since you can close the app and still hear music and also put the song on repeat, can I suggest some that I wrote this too? (*'꒳'*)
• olli - the big picture
• olli - I can't always be there for you
• zach farache - charlie brown

I hope you enjoy this one (◞w◟)

"What will we do honey?"
You lied in your soft silk sheets, the morning sun barely shining through your window.
"I'm not sure dear, but I feel so guilty we can't help her."
Your parents whimpered in the next room over, believing you were asleep. However you were wide awake.
"Should we... give up? She's living no life like that!"
Your eyes glistened as tears threatened to fall. But there was nothing you could do.
"It's best we... prepare her funeral."
Yeah, you agreed. Whole heartedly, despite the sadness heavy on your shoulders.
-
You were sick. You didn't know why it came to be this way, or why you couldn't be fixed. You could barely feel your legs, and it was hard to breath if your heart raced even a little. You could not live a happy life this way as you grew worse and worse, you knew it, your parents knew it. That's why they decided it was best to end your suffering. You thought it would be good too, so they wouldn't grieve your helpless state any longer.
All you had was a window to look out of into your garden. You used to tend the flowers with your mother there, but now...
It was a hard fact, but you had to face it everyday that you would no longer see your mother or the garden soon. You would die.
"Honey?" A couple soft knocks on your door frame drew your attention from your rather depressing thoughts. Your mother walked in with a cup in her hand, tea you supposed. "Hello mother." You smiled cheerfully, as if you did not hear that dreaded conversation earlier. "I brought you your favorite tea. I used the peaches straight from the garden. It also seemed your flowers have attracted many butterflies, isn't that lovely?" You kept your smile and nodded, taking the tea from her hands as she sat down in an old chair next to you. You sipped it, and felt your mothers nervous aura. She wanted to tell you, but she could not bare to do so.
"Cat got your tongue?" You said cheerfully, to which she jumped at. Your mother gazed at you with a delicate look, admiring you. "You're so beautiful (Y/n)." She reached to your face and caressed your cheek. "Thank you.." You said quietly.
"There's something important I must tell you." Here it is. You smiled and looked at her, awaiting the news which was no secret to you. She took your silence as a sign to continue her shaky announcement. "We-... Me and your father h-have-... oh God..."
